Not known for scandal? 😂 his entire career was that. He had a huge alcohol problem and his band mates hated him. That’s why CCR broke up and never got back together.
@@alexcorona No, CCR's demise started after their 3rd album when his bandmates wanted to participate in the songwriting. A fish can't climb a tree no matter how determined they are lol
It's great but these ccr songs sometimes are just too much granny cheese save for run through the jungle, fortunate son and a couple of other cooler ones....but imo they needed to step up their game with more menacing or rebelious lyrics and sounds to spice things up and kick more a--, like other bands did by 1970. These guys, grateful d and the beach boys kinda stayed the same by 1972, great band but i don't know it just feels like too much grind on that style or just cringe daddy rock stuff to me. I mean really...it's gotta be wayyy more cooler to say you're keith richard's son or Bowie's son...or like "my dad was on MC5" or "my dad was on the mothers of invention with zappa". Fogerty feels more like cringey dad rock material than cooler classic rock IMO
I can hardly imagine what it must be like to have a successful band and play for millions of people and years later play the same songs that you played but this time with your kids. John Fogerty is an extremely blessed man for his efforts. Greetings from Brazil.
I had a very dysfunctional family when I was around 12 years old, violence, alcohol etc. I listened and sang "who'll stop the rain" over and over while sitting in my rocking chair and I cried all the tears in my body. I felt much better afterwards. Despite everything, I am happy now and still listen CCR in peace. Thank you
How lucky a man John Fogerty is having his children playing with him His marriage the second time around was a god send A true great man Not a bad word said about him just a great man that plays great and timeless music Long live John Fogerty one great and Lucky man

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN FOGERTY!!!! 79 YEARS-OLD ON THIS DAY, MAY 28, 2024!!! God bless you John, and thank you for the great music you have given to the world!
Happy Fourth to the Fogerty's! Would love to see John, Stu and Cliff together one more time before it's too late. And to take Tom's place on rhythm, alternate Tyler, Shane and Kelsy on different songs. I guess the odds are against that happening but a person can dream. CCR has always been one of my favorite groups! Great performance!
I would love to too but unfortunately I think it’s too late. Maybe that would be a disappointment for all of us. We would expect young CCR and they are all old already. Let them remain in our memory as they were when they were young. Great greetings to Doug and Stu and a great memory of Tom and his unique rhythm guitar. Tyler is closest to his rhythm.
I've been a fan since the beginning, I'm 73. All I can say about Fogerty's Factory is, OUTSTANDING & don't stop!! I just found your channel while surfing, you guys made my day! Every presentation is alive and fresh, so cool!!
Greetings from Germany. Please never stop playing these songs! You are such a legend! Your Fogerty-Family is so great! In the 90s my wife asked me "Do you want to go to a Tina Turner concert with me?" Although I really love TT I was not in the mood - so I told her "I dont know, who is the fore-band?" she said "Some guy named John Fogerty" A split-second later I said "I am so coming with you!" And then, in Hannover, Germany you came out and it was raining (typically Germany) and you started with "Have you ever seen the rain? THAT MOMENT WAS EPIC!! I grew up with CCR, my elder brothers played it all day long. And now, some 50 years later I have all of CCR-albums in my car, on my phone, in my motorcycle-helmet and I can listen to them over and over again - it is just a feel-good-music with so many many good memories! I wish I could you see you live again!
Cotton fields, Midnight Special, Someday never Comes, Candle in the Window, Lodi. I cant shut up. Again. Thank you for not giving up and keeping your music alive.
