As anyone that's ever read a doujin from an anime they liked growing up, i think most of us can relate. Not the "lifegoal" part, but the transition from being a fan to being a "more intimate" fan.
Yes, exactly! Sonic did the run before Naruto was even an idea! I can honestly say I've never done the Naruto run; I can also honestly say I haven't done the Sonic run since 2001.
Edit: My buddy TT is the biggest Naruto fan I've ever met, and he said Boruto has gotten absolutely INSANE.
While Sonic Adventure (where 'modern' Sonic originated and the arms-behind run became his 'normal' way of running) came out slightly less than a year before Naruto started (so Naruto probably was at least an idea by then); Sonic did actually use that run sometimes in Sonic CD about 5 years earlier (only when using the Peel-out and a few of the special boosters though, as most of the time he was using his classic, arms-tucked-in/legs-spinning-in-cartoon-circles run), so you might technically be right.
Did they lock boruto in the rubber room with rats?? 'Bout time he was having this whole conspiracy with aliens and stuff, he said one of them became part of him, that's crazy.

the reality about the "Naruto run" is: they've shown clips of Naruto characters running like that to an actual shinobi of the old times. the old man said that it's real, but it didn't look like that. it was developed for running across longer distances, while conserving energy. as such, it is not about bending your arms backwards, but letting them hang loose. it was manga and anime that took this concept a step further, trying to depict that the characters are running so fast, that their arms are hanging backwards.
Solo Leveling is best understood as a power fantasy story; there is certainly a plotline and character development at times but you’re really there to watch Sung Jinwoo get insane abilities, become the god of all edgelords and ROFLstomp his enemies. Go into the show with that mentality and you should have a good time.

The "Naruto run" is actually aerodynamic. You're supposed to form a V shape with your arms, bend your torso forward, and run. It actually takes some practice to keep yourself running straight and keeping your arms stiff also takes practice.
The thing is, keeping your arms stiff seems to be slower, as swinging one's arms helps with propelling one forward. Probably the reason no one runs with arms stiff behind them in competitions.
You are correct about the aerodynamics part but you wouldn’t be able to go fast enough for it to make any real difference
@@benhanin6247 But Sonic and Naruto ninjas absolutely do. I believe MatPat calculated that at near sonic speeds it would actually reduce the effect of drag by (functionally) a couple _hundred_ pounds of force. Still definitely far too little benefit for normal humans though.

The actual thing that makes you faster is the bending forward, kinda like controlled falling/stumbling because your own body weight keeps pulling you forward propelling you more than anything you yourself would probably achieve with muscle. It's also way more energy efficient because of that but it looks silly so people don't do it anymore 🤷♂️ (once saw a documentation from a Japanese historian that explained it pretty well and who said they used to run like that in Japan but not anymore since European influence took over and declared it as weird, kinda sad)

Because of this, Gohan holds back against Perfect Cell, until the last minute, twice. (once at the begining of the fight before going SSJ2/SSJ Grade 5, and again during the Final Kamehameha beam struggle) Goku was right in the end to trust that Gohan had the power to beat Cell, just not the motive, and Goku died as a result of this oversite. The Sensu Bean was just cake...

I give the Lost pause a solid Salute 07 to the quality meme and fluff meme content. I haven't watched a video of yours in a while but I do remember the days of the door in the background so many years ago and with todays video that I watched it is the same quality content that I can enjoy. YEEEEES Noble is one of my people... old lol, we did call it the Sonic run back in the day. Although from a sciencey perspective it is actually possible to go faster. Granted we're not moving around at the speed of sound like Sonic or ninjas, the reason Sonic can do it is he also has a tail and his quills to help with balance. So for a human to do that you'd need to be constantly adjusting picking up speed while your arms are holding you from falling forward.
Thus... either that kid was super slow or it was staged lol, cause there is no way in a legitimate race, even as someone who was a sprinter, you'd be going faster with it, because even Usain Bolt wouldn't be going fast enough to use his arms as balance, in the end you'd just fall on your face if you raced like that seriously, because you'd be too top heavy, with the lack of speed and resistance from wind. In the end your arms would be weighing you down without something to keep them up by going so fast.

In Yu-Gi-Oh! the reason Monsters, or any card played in general, have such a wide variety of responses to any given situation is not because someone animated it into the system.
