The fact that the animatronics look almost like they’re built out of flesh make them so much more terrifying in this game.
I think this game is like the least scary fnaf type game there is. They look creepy up close, but they are mostly on camera, and can barely see them. Also, the ghost going around to diff ones makes it much less scary. When they all have the ability at all times to attack you is much scarier. This is just my opinions of course. The gameplay aspect by itself is decent. Mark seems to be having fun 😊😊

When you guess wrong, you speed up how quickly that animatronic deteriorates by an ungodly amount. However, if you’re fast enough, you can fix the problem before it kills you.
The fact that Mark finished the entire game without realizing such a vital mechanic both astounds me and at the same time makes perfect sense.

I was screaming at mark trying to explain that his method of calling in an animatronic early on is not what killed him, especially when he literally said right before he died that bonnie was dying and needed repairs, that bonnie killed him and then I realized that he couldn't hear me lol. I noticed there's actually a strategy with not immediately outing the ghost.
If you narrowed it down to a particular animatronic, you can repair the rest of them before expelling the ghost. Then right as soon as you do so, call the previously possessed animatronic in for repairs; it prevents them from being possessed twice in a row and keeps stability up for everyone.
That's why BB's gimmick is the way it is. It makes it extremely obvious that hey, yeah, BB's possessed, but you can't read BB's condition, so you can't employ this strategy while BB is possessed, or risk failure.

usually the best thing to do is just to put marionette in the repair bay right at the beginning before anyone gets haunted and just keep her there for the rest of the game because she's annoying

It’s just having to use sound instead of ur eyes(like not to figure it if she’s the ghost like obviously she is gonna leave physical clues) but i think that it’s still very possible. I think at the beginning tho since they didn’t mention that until he died(the first ep) but tbh I don’t think she is so annoying to where u should leave her in the repair room the whole night since she still gives the same clues but she also has her own clues (I’ve noticed she is the only one to make the camera connection go out) so she is definitely more annoying then the rest. I really really like how there is a literal boss fight which you like never see in fnaf games. The music and the intensity make it sooo good.

Really REALLY delayed, but I love how the music gradually changes into Mangle's sounds. The transition is as smooth as butter. It's absolutely uncanny and the first time I watched it, I had to replay it again just to confirm that I'd heard it.

Its quite interesting how they turned a relatively secondary character like mangle into a main monster. It does a really good job shining the spotlight on her and portraying mangle as a far bigger threat to the main character than in FNAF 2.
That's cause in FNaF2, The Mangle was just a Toy Foxy who was around kids too often. It wasn't any more a threat than Toy Freddy, Chica or Bonnie. Here, The Mangle is a main monster where every animatronic is forced to become a freak of supernatural.
That and the introduction they made for her helps crank up the tension. You know you're going up against something worse when it takes the entire cast to make it
The Mangle always felt a bit wasted in the main series, tbh. It's definitely the coolest animatronic from a design perspective and an ungodly amalgamation of animatronics is a really cool idea the series never really capitalized on (they kinda did it with Ennard, but its design isn't nearly as cool as Mangle's, tbh)
Glad that the devs themselves made Mangle a bigger role in the game itself.

For anyone who doesn't know, JR's is an actual restaurant that appears in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator. The only way to find it is to find a secret route in the Midnight Motorist minigame, in which we learn that the main character of Midnight Motorist, presumably William Afton is banned from the establishment. The pixel art restaurant you see at the end of the credits is JR's as it appears in FFPS

The designs had so much potential, I wish they had implemented more close-up scenes and game mechanics to make the most out of them cause they were certainly TERRIFYING, very well done

SB is overhated, the bugs were horrible at launch but past that it's a fun generic survival horror with some fnaf mechanics thrown in. It definitely has the best gameplay in the series considering every other fnaf game besides sister location was just repeating the same pattern for the entire game. It wasn't that scary but it wasn't really trying to be, ever since sister location fnaf has been comedy horror which is fine.

I love how the Fnaf 2 portion has the trailers music remixed, and in a way to fit the buildup of progress through the level, like MAN that’s clever, cool, and surprisingly works very well
I do like that they "redid" the game as they said, because it ended up feeling so unique, whereas some of that scrapped content did kinda look like a bit more typical fnaf so the fact they made something like this instead is brilliant.

47:08 He missed the one thing alot of us wanted him to see, the Mangle appearing in the hallway when the lights are flashed. For anyone wondering or if Mark ever reads this, if he DIDN'T lower his mask at that moment, him lighting up the hall infront of him would've revealed the Mangle ahead roaring back at him (thus that loud noise that followed), the animation for that scene is GORGEOUS and an amazing means of intimidation display, sadly-- he never got to see it as he lowered the mask at that exact time.
Oh shoot! I wondered about that noise. I'll have to find a clip of that somewhere! That sounds amazing!

Agreed, I seriously can’t get over how much I love the art style and the design of the animatronics. I can’t stop gushing over it, so so well done. I compared it to photos of Chuck E Cheese animatronics and they were able to so perfectly capture the off putting vibes of a fabric crafted animatronic. But worse.

The purely terrifying character design makes this game absolutely amazing. They somehow kept them similar enough to be recognizabled yet eary enough to make you piss yourself in terror

I'm a year late but I am SO GLAD this game saw the potential that Mangle had in the original series and used it to its fullest. Mangle was my favorite character when I was younger and it always disappointed me to not see her story being utilized, but this singlehandedly covers all the criteria of me when I was younger and me now. Her design ad mechanics are unlike anything I've ever seen and for the first time in years, I'm actually scared of an animatronic. This goes for the rest of them too, but her appearance, functions, and introduction are all especially terrifying. I could not be more impressed.
This game has so much going on, mark was saying “foxy or bonnie” and not only did he forget that it was foxy and not freddy, but he also forgot that bonnie was being repaired after the spirit entered an animatronic, so the only choice was foxy. Honestly this game is really good and does what a good horror game should do; scary graphics and good gameplay with jumpscares that catch you off-guard. This is the first game in a while where you can’t anticipate a jumpscare. Sure it’s got it’s flaws, but it’s a good breath of fresh air.

Mortuary assistant is scarier to me but it does get repetitive and the variety of the demons aren't so vast for u to get scared of new things. Games like this are scary because there's like 6 different types of animatronics and all with their own unique stuff but to me mortuary assistant is scarier
I think you can anticipate the jumpsacers, because apparently they happen only uf you mess up, like if you chose the wrong one, so you know immediatly when you fucked up, except when you call the wrong one for repair or when the stability drops, but if you check stability often and rise your guard when you call someone in, its hard to get you with your pants down

i love the three different animation styles. the claymation for the vhs tapes, the paper-like cut outs for the dreams and the realistic vibe for the office and in the main menu.

Dude, this game is legitimately similar to nightmares that I have of FNaF, particularly the Mangle segment. It feels like a dream with the random creepy s#!@ coming in from the left and right and all around like the TVs and the eyes and the owls. This game is a real masterpiece!

I love the style of it being directly from the old 80-90s style animatronics like Rock afire explosions and the old-first look of chucky cheese's the wrinkly look of their smiles and their teeth are big. Because most old animatronic not only had fur but also resin-plastic that over time melts. It always gave them that skin appearance that looks uncanny.
It always makes me wonder why children ever wanted to go to animatronic show restaurants. Ive always been creeped out by chuck-e-cheese, especially when I was a kid.
