Hey Academy, I'm Brazilian and I recently discovered some channels that are simply plagiarizing ALL of your videos. Not only do they have exactly the same title, but they also copy your texts word for word. I don't know if they are under permission, but anyway...
I have nothing to do with this, but this seems like an interesting ethical conundrum. Because the information is valuable, regardless of the source, but the individuals in the originating organization should be adequately cited or compensated. What do you think?

The allegory in Richard Matheson's novel "The Incredible Shrinking Man" describes the individual as no longer being able to stand on his own. Wells predicted our great sport Stadiums, not for recreation, but as an outlet for our instinctual nature to belong to a tribe or community in which he matters. Maybe if there were talented modern artists that depicted modern issues, he wouldn't have to use AI art. There's an absence of talented artists today, which is why AI art is being used so much. One can use old art for certain topics, but when talking about modern politics it's practically impossible.

I always remind myself of this, when reflecting on how Im usually rejected by our society, and how I feel I just dont fit in, with my values and thought systems so different. Such a great video and educational as well as informative. I have not watched enough of this channel; I learned a lot from just this video. I do wonder though, how would some of these theories apply to a society, specifically the United States currently, where in fact, each separate faction not only think of themselves as "right" or correct in their belief that the other side is the one trying to become the totalitarians, who are the ones who manipulate and control those who believe in what either side is being told to believe. In essence, that they both point the finger at each other, saying the same thing about the other, while very often, never taking a look at why they have been led to think in such a way or even try to see the other side's perspective or views, just always playing the game of believing that the other is "projecting" itself onto the one side or another they point the finger at? It reminds me of something we used to say as kids whenever someone told us something mean or nasty, we would respond by saying "I am rubber and you are glue, whatever you say, bounces off of me and sticks to you". I can agree with the idea that inflated self worth and ego can bring forth the worst in man, now I would very much like to see academy of ideas has to say on the polar opposite, what does weakness and a deflated ego and self worth bring forth in people. What is the counter to either, and what as the best/natural state with a balance of the two aforementioned opposites and what would that bring forth.
I dont think this is simply just a modern man phenomena. Man was always powerless, in fact, arguably more so in the past when life was actually difficult and starvation and disease were much more commonplace.
It is just a fact of life on earth, we are all powerless to a large degree. If you believe in a god or the heavens, then the only true way to not be in a state of powerlessness is to exist in the heavens and not on earth.

4. Cellphone use-do not get online until 7 am-turn off service and get phone out of sight & out of mind (different room) by 7. Let’s aim for this and stay aware of how this is going. Providing sufficient darkness, sufficient “cave” time” , time to stretch , connecting calmly in zen space.
5. Food tracking-to really have an awareness of the effects these choices have on my biochemistry and to share the journey of these choices, while it can seem like much (historically) to track this , let’s aim for this.
6. Enlightenment practice-this is a universal practice designed to positively cultivate the energy of the whole being.
7. Plant medicine, coffee, cacao, greentea are for ceremonial use-Sundays only, track this. (Can do other day in place of Sunday if it works out better for conditions)

I have nothing to do with this, but this seems like an interesting ethical conundrum. Because the information is valuable, regardless of the source, but the individuals in the originating organization should be adequately cited or compensated. What do you think?
