- Adventure of the Seas dining was great! Here are our food reviews and tour of mostly-included food venues on one of the most popular Royal Caribbean ships sailing right now. The Windjammer buffet was amazing, Cafe Promenade was tasty and convenient, and the Main Dining Room provided excellent food and service. Great video! I didn't even know pistachio pound cake was a thing. I loved the Windjammer on Adventure of the Seas. I think I ate most of my meals there except for a trip to Izumi and Chops.
we are doing it with my grand parents in august. They've never been on a cruise ship before so i think they're gonna be in love with the food

We sailed on Adventure of the Seas earlier this month and the food was spectacular! My husband especially loved the escargot.

So guests don't have to wear masks correct? But the staff still do?
When we cruised in April 2023, masks were optional for staff.
Is there any complimentary coffee or do you have to purchase a drink package in order to have coffee?
Included beverages are shown during the buffet portion-coffee, tea, tea bags, milk, and machine juices. 👍🏼

Is breakfast, lunch and dinner complimentary in Adventures of the seas?
Yes! There are several included food venues on board… the Main Dining Room, the Windjammer buffet, and the Cafe Promenade for pizza and snacks.
The food is terrible after they change menus. The portions ate very small and in the windjammer the majority are indian food.

3/11/23 just got off this ship - food abysmal, all days, not just one. No salt, no seasoning, no flavor. deserts had crystally meringue toppings, over gelatinized creams/fillings, and again no flavor. I've been told they switched to a new menu - fine, but did they take out seasoning and the ability to actually cook properly. The cooking staff should be ashamed.
Very sad. Be SURE and let them know on your cruise eval. They need to hear those things to know to make changes. 👍🏼
@@AllThingsWagner I am filling out the cruise eval I received, but I do not see how this will make a difference. RCCL knows what they are doing. A trained chef/culinary staff knows how to salt pasta water - for example. It's basic cooking 101 they are failing at, in the dining room, windjammer and specially restaurants (minus izumi, they were good). We were going to go to specialty/paid restaurants after 2 days of dismal dining room food. We talked with others on an excursion to come to find they also were lacking in content and seasoning.
Do we still have to wear masks or be vaccinated?
Oh heck no!!! They will ask about vaccinations during the health questions at the port, but it doesn’t matter either way.

@@AllThingsWagner thanks so much, bummed about the beer thing. Was hoping we didn't have to spend twice as much on the drinking package when we only need a few beers maybe every day.
@@MaverickMarket24 if that's all you're planning on drinking, I'd say the drink package is a waste of money for you! Check out the drink package calculator at this link. It should help you decide if a package is worth it for you. Remember also, you'll be off the ship in port 3 days during the week and might be drinking in port instead of on the ship. Hope this helps!
