  • Over the past 6 weeks, my Amazon FBA business has been CRUSHED by a problem caused by Amazon! In this video, I share my real world experience of how Amazon has cost me thousands in lost revenue and lost ranks and then refused to help with an issue they created.
    Amazon FBA UK is an amazing online passive income business idea that you can start from home and has the potential to generate life changing income, however, it is FAR from perfect!
    I have been selling on Amazon for 6 years and without a doubt the absolute worst thing about being an Amazon FBA seller is Amazon Seller Support.
    Amazon FBA beginners need to be aware that Seller Support is not fit for purpose so that they can seek support elsewhere when faced with an issue.
    The issue I have been facing for the past 6 weeks is still unresolved despite many messages to Seller Support, instead, I have had to find my own solution to a problem that Amazon created.
    Amazon FBA private label is still an incredible opportunity to make money selling on Amazon, but I want you to go into it with your eyes wide open so you know what to expect before starting Amazon FBA UK.

    Amazon is too complicated. I wish there was an equally strong platform for us sellers to grow faster.

      It wasnt before. I have started in 2013. For 8 years havent spent 1 penny on ppc.

    Amazon lost 400 units of my stock. They asked me to provide all invoices and shipping documents related to that shipment, which I did. Then they asked me to provide an invoice for an earlier shipment of 4 which I explained were returns sent to me by Amazon that were classed as damaged, but weren't and then sent back to the Fulfillment centre. I explained that these units were from the previous shipment of 400 units and provided the receipt for that. Their reply was ' As you didn't provide the requested document the case is now closed and we will not communicate further on the matter'

    I feel your pain Darren, 'SS' are worse than useless, it is soooooo frustrating. What with that, plus charges for having too much stock, charges for having too little stock, FBA seller fees, fulfilment costs, VAT on fees (from 1st August), shenanigans from Chinese sellers, after 14 years I'm seriously thinking of packing in Amazon after Christmas as it's fast becoming impossible.

    When I first started, Woodland said my consignment was too small for them to deal with (5k units, don't remember weight). So I got supplier in China to send direct to Amazon. Checked in no probs and very reasonable rates

    Have you thought about using Amazon Global Logistics. They could be a better option for freight forwarding as they would be integrated within the Amazon system.

    If seller support are being useless you can ask to escalate the case to their leadership team. They are usually a little better at dealing with things. They will then start every message saying they are from the leadership team so you know it is actually them.

    Seller support is pretty much non-existent in US market. Especially with these chinese and other asian sellers directly from china, I have no hopes for an issue getting resolved with seller support. The replies are emotionally daunting.

    Interesting title to use 'My Amazon FBA Business Is Being Destroyed... BY AMAZON!' my question is do you believe that? For me the whole FBA doesn't make sense with all automation and AI and tie-ins with China and factories across the world why do they need 3rd party sellers now? I think the cull has arrived, they need to price-match Temu and Shien 3rd party sellers are chips.

    Westbound are useless. Charged me a redelivery of £450 because they failed to tell me the delivery lorry didn’t have the means to take it off their own lorry so expected me to have a forklift.
    They knew it was a home delivery.
    Plus they have lost or sent the wrong pallets to Amazon 4 times in the last 3 yrs costing me £1000’s, and never have they offered me any money as compensation as apparently their insurance wouldn’t pay out so neither would they.
    They have lost 300 items and were charging me storage for them for 16 months and when they told me they couldn’t find them they offered me 5% of what they cost me as yet again the insurance wouldn’t pay out. They wouldn’t tell me when they went missing and how long I had been paying storage fees for them when they weren’t there. Will never use them again. Discusting owners
