My mother passed two weeks ago from a brief, but deadly illness. Just went through funeral, all legal issues and am going through her things to disperse them as she wanted. When she passed at the beginning of Covid, that was a major relief and brought freedom I barely shed a tear. I had already."said goodbye’ and cut the court decades previously. I didn’t know how I would feel., when the day came it would bring upheaval and confusion. It didn’t., because I had worked through so much over the years. But it was finally. And almost instant shedding. it was only after that I found out she was a malignant narcissist This explain the cruelty and control. Learning about how this works and how it affected me understanding the intentionality of it, He brought me greater peace and appreciation of myself
It explained how my nervous system was conditioned to accept people like her in my life, causing me so much pain. She passed at a time I was set up by narcissist to be trapped, sabotaged and weakened Midst of healing of my mom, I discovered what she was, through, discovering what he was Trying to escape , I was traumatized, and this is when because of my vulnerability in the midst of trauma and help, I was set up by as sociopath! I’m just warning you because you’re letting go of the control
And if you haven’t learned yet, these kinds of people target the vulnerable, caring, and/or trusting. One of the biggest things you can do to protect yourself just take your time getting to know people before you trust them explicitly, and don’t give out personal information about your past early Or two people who really have not earned knowing your heart These kind seem extra nice to begin with
But they do show their colors with little controlling ways, breaking boundaries, making excuses, and not being accountable for what is normal in an exchange for two people honoring each other. I hope I haven’t been too heavy. Please take time to heal. I am happy you’re free of control! Congratulations! Enjoy YOUR life. I am 60 and really, just starting.

Omg so nailed it every word. I just recently made the deduction to move to North Dakota to financially better myself and my life. I have a hard time asking for help cleaning this house and I'm lettinging everything go walking away from it all. I am in a relationship with a man who has been in prison for almost two years.
