Thank you all so much for watching and for the hair curling tips! A lot of people have mentioned getting the heat protecting gloves, and while I appreciate the suggestion, I can't. My hands are my eyes and therefore, I cannot use anything (like a glove) that would take away from my ability to feel what I am doing. Just thought I'd mention it so. you don't have to waste precious finger energy explaining it in the comments! hahaha All other comments and suggestions are super appreciated though. :) Much love to you all! xo
Molly Burke That is really usefull! I absolutly LOVE to be able to do my hair without the mirror and you TOTALLY explains how to do it better than I do! My friends ar gonna love this video!
Molly Burke The heat styling glove I have, I can still feel heat thru it. it just helps so if I touch the barrel I don't get burnt immediately but if I held it there I still would.
Unfortunately it's not just being able to feel the heat - I need to be able to feel my own hair so that I can section it, pull it from the clip and the curler, etc. It's not enough just to feel a bit of heat, I need to feel everything in detail to be able to do my hair without a mirror. :)
Molly Burke can u do another makeup tutorial and what is the name of your curling iron ? And can u also do a hair tutorial of updos hairstyles/everyday hair styles ? Love you so much
Molly Burke Beautiful! You should try the babyliss curl secret, it sucks your hair up into a heated vacuum so there's no chance of you burning yourself and the hair isn't wrapping around anything so it can't get tangled. With the pro version you can customise the direction of the curl, and just a quick note to say curling hair that frames the face away from the face is much more flattering
So I noticed that when you press the button to curl your hair, you're pressing it the opposite way that you put the hair in, so there's a little crinkle at the bottom. Maybe you can ask someone which way the hair should turn for a little while, and then after you get used to it you'll be golden. I know it's not a very big deal, and your hair still looks amazing regardless of that! :)
she looks amazing, but honestly those "bends" pissed me off, it wasn't even about her, or her hair, it was just my weird ocd kicking in and i was like "noooooooo"
She said she was trying to have the girls go different directions...which yeah she had the right idea, but didn't turn the iron around. Can't blame her since she can't see the iron or her hair. Honestly I didn't think it looked bad, Since she only did that for certain pieces it didn't look too noticeable to me.
Your hair looks so pretty curled! I can't believe you're able to not burn yourself, the only tip I'd give you is to try curling the pieces closer to your face aways away from your face so it looks kinda wind blown
I find that curling my front pieces towards my face always lays better than away from my face, probably because my hair is naturally curly so it always wants to do weird things lol but i always encourage people to try curling those bits towards their face because it can give you a different look from the standard method
Molly Burke yes!! I also spray my brush with hair spray !! my hair is blonde and it holds curl well..I tend to spray my brush, and use my "Instyler" to straighten it!!
I put it on my hands and distribute it that way. You can also use a straightner to curl your hair, and it would help stop the kinks at the bottom you get with clamps
Ariane Belley I do that too! Although I've never heard of heat protectant. I usually just use my hair spray. I already knew that curling your hair can damage it but I didn't know there was a product that can prevent damage so I usually just don't curl it that often.
Hi Molly! I love your videos. I'm a sighted viewer with some tips on curling hair. If you're putting your hair through and the end of your hair is on the right side of the curler clip, then make sure the barrel turns to the right. Vise versa for the left. Sometimes there's a little kink on the end of your hair if you don't do it this way. But honestly, when you were done with the whole thing it wasn't very noticeable anyway. Just something to think about when you're getting the technique down. Great job, and very creative tutorial! :)
Another way to say this that might be helpful is - push the button that is farther away from you. This rotates the barrel so the hair in the clip doesn't go back over itself immediately creating a kink. But I was surprised that I couldn't tell when Molly was all done!
I was gonna say that too :) and you also have to consider which way the clip is facing.. it changed when you were switching hands! But really, great job! I need this curling iron :D
So since you asked for hair curling tips. I see you're missing large chunks of the bottom of each section, presumably to prevent yourself from getting burned. I'd recommend a heat styling glove that allows you to touch the curling iron without getting burned. Then I would suggest pulling the end of the hair closer to the clamp. Of course, with a glove like this, you could also use a clamp-less curler and just wind your hair around the wand yourself. Current results are really good though!
Unfortunately I can't wear those heat styling gloves :( My hands are my eyes, so I can't use anything that takes away my sense of touch or limits my ability to feel. Thanks for the tips though, I really appreciate it!
The funny thing is the clamp-less curler creates just the look Molly got because it is impossible to curl the very end when it's not in a clamp and without any heat protection for hands. So uncurled ends have became a very common style I've noticed. Since Molly is so good with maneuvering the iron, she definitely could figure out how much of the bottom of the hair was left out of the clamp and then pull it down to grip the end of the hair. This is assuming she wants to play around with the different style, of course. :) I'll actually do this by feel at times. I'm sighted, but when I'm trying to be picky about the angle of the iron, hair in the back is hard to see when kept *in* the back, so I have to kind of figure, "okay, two inches of the hair didn't get in the clamp, so I need to bring down the iron two inches."
I figured out how to use a flat iron with blindness but thanks for the curling tutorial! But I generally do is they use the cheap sponge rollers that you can get just about anywhere. I just keep the curlers in a drawer and I use them when my hair is wet. You can get them at the dollar tree or something like that and that's kind of nice when you don't feel like using heat for your hair and a jumper. Thanks for talking about the automatic roller! I'm sure that if I make enough of an income one day, I'll get one for myself. Right now, I'm a poor college student. Thank you for making these videos! I've had blindness all of my life so I'm pretty used to it by now, but thank you so much for educating me as well as many other individuals about how to talk about ourselves with individuals who don't know us and to show them that we can do so much more than stereotypes want them to believe!
My sister has really thick and straight hair that's so hard to curl, so this really helped her to learn how to curl her hair and it actually stick for longer than ten minutes! And I just wanted to say how amazing you are, Molly! Not only are you absolutely beautiful on the outside but you're beautiful on the inside, too. You're kind, humble, and you want to help others who have vision issues learn how to do things in order to be more independant. I just can't get over how wonderful of a person you are despite the hardships you yourself have gone through.
I really like this girl. she is so strong, so real and honest. refreshing compared to a lot of the garbage content in the videos most RUclipsrs are putting up nowadays. I think this girl is GREAT!! what an inspiration
Molly, I love that you don't let your disability stop you from mastering the things you want to do. You did a great job with this and the finished product looks so beautiful! Thank you for your videos. xo
It takes me about an hour to straighten my hair and to curl my hair is an entire other story!! Lol . . . I love your channel, I found out about you a few months ago and found more out about blind people than my entire family all together knows, JUST from you!! You really have some smart techniques on how to do things normal people claim the blind/visually impaired can't do. You truly are a clever, inspirational, and beautiful role model. I love what you do and please keep doing it!
From one blind girl experimenting to another, thank you so much for sharing what you have discovered! These tips and hacks are so helpful!!! Please keep sharing your amazing ideas with us
I'm sighted and you curl your hair better than I do! It looks great! One tip I have is to not curl as close to your head on the top layers since your bangs are straight. Just go half way up on that top layer, but continue to curl all the way on the other layers since that gives you more volume.
I love learning how blind people navigate the world. I watch these videos and it really helps me learn a new perspective. You rock on Molly, I love your CAN DO attitude. (Question, does your voice reading app read out all caps words and things like parenthesis?)
On your front pieces of hair it's better to curl away from your face. It frames the face better. I would also say that a curling glove or heat protectant one sometimes is provided with the curling wand but I'm sure you can buy one because it would prevent burns.
hydragnb oh yeah that makes sense. The top pieces were a bit bigger though so I think maybe because she said that her top pieces were better than her bottom ones was because she got more volume and a nice full curl.
So as a hairstylist I don’t really need tips on curling my hair BUT my city had a pretty big blind community and I’m super excited to have some tips for my blind/visually impaired clients tips on what they can do at home
Glad you found an iron and a system that works amazingly for you! I'm sighted with hair the same length as yours and it took me years to gather the courage to trust myself with a curling iron! You took the curls up to the right area of your hair where they still look very natural. Others have said it and I agree, curling your hair away from around the face is very flattering, and I usually take the curls near my face higher up/closer to my roots than the rest for this same reason then loosen them, with my fingers. As for more beauty videos - take us shopping!! I've seen your previous clothes haul videos and I think it would be very interesting to see how you choose items/put together outfits solo or with your mom/friends. I am flat out not good (horrible, really) at putting outfits together/visualizing new outfit possibilities, especially while in the stores shopping and seeing clothes on racks, so I would love to see that!
Hey girl, just wanted to let you know you're such an inspiration in terms of body positivity and fierce determination. I've been binge watching your channel for the past week or so, and it's so nice to see another awesome Canadian RUclipsr spreading good vibes to the world! Keep it up. xoxo Erin from Nova Scotia
I'm obsessed with you're channel! You're so adorable, a delight to watch and such a down to earth person :) Can't wait to see what video you post next. xxx
You are so disciplined! I tend to forget to straighten parts of my hair *with* a mirror lol, and you remember which parts you've straightened or not without looking. Honestly this video was so helpful for me even though I'm sighted, cause I get so distracted with the straightening that I miss parts, I loved the "done in the back, to do in the front technique" loved the video! 😘
I found this great to know. The only thing that I saw is that u had about 1 inch of the ends of your hair that doesn't get curled. I found this a great learning experience. I think you're an amazing woman who doesn't let your disability take your life away from you. I have had to go through 4 back surgeries. The pain has been awful and stops me from doing so much. I am hoping that 1 day I will be able to do more but I think that you are so great to teach others that you don't let your disability run your life and you live around the disability. I know that you said you did yoga I'm curious to know how you learn to do the positions when you cannot see if possible would you make a video on it so that others are able to know how to do the positions?
Your hair is so pretty! Also 20-40 minutes is really normal for your length of hair. My hair used to be slightly shorter than yours and if I really wanted to curl it it would take about that long to do. Your hair is just so healthy though it has this shiny glow to it that just makes it so pretty.
wow you're brave girl. to be honest watching you makes me nervous because i burn myself often as a sighted person, but you're a lot more careful then me lol. i usually curl my hair as a no heat overnight thing, with rope braids, curlers, pincurls, buns, etc. You might want to try it if you haven't already, because I often do it at my bed, without a mirror anyway because I can feel what I'm doing and also it's less damaging.
I just got an auto-rotating one after so many years of failed hair curling attempts! I just started using it but I think it will be a total game changer for me. I'm glad that it helps you too, your hair curling already looks so much better than mine, even with a mirror :)
Wow! Your hair looks so good!! I am sighted and I don't think my hair looks half as good on a daily basis. Your blindness doesn't stop you doing anything. You look great!!
This is beautiful Molly! I think you could do it much faster if you took bigger chunks of hair at a time though and it would look just as beautiful! When you split your hair into two sides honestly I would do two curls on each side. When you run your fingers through them after the larger curls will seperate and make more curls as if you curled more sections to begin with. Also for the curls right up front curl away from your face. Just looks a little more natural and wind blown.☺ Love your videos and your beautiful spirit and attitude about life!
Aw your welcome! Thanks for replying! I adore you and your content! You are so sweet and positive and I've learned alot about being blind from you! Very informative!
I work as an interpreter for the deaf and learning about the deaf and their culture was so interesting and fun to me, so now learning about the blind and how you go about different things is really interesting to learn as well! I love learning new things and just being informed about how people from all walks of life live! Thanks for the awesome content! ❤
Hi Molly! I am also visually impaired and I've always wanted to be able to curl my hair. I've tried different methods but none were really successful. I'd really like to try out your way. Wondering what brand of rotating iron you were using?
Girl, this is PERFECT! And I'm definitely gonna try this out some time even though I'm sighted, might come in handy! I'd say 20-40 minutes is an average or even short time. For me it takes at least 20 minutes even though I have short hair.
Hey Molly! I love you and love watching your videos! I need to let you know, that first product is actually not a heat protectant or “BB styler.” It is from a brand called Bumble and bumble. Their products are labeled with “Bb” to stand for Bumble and Bumble. That particular product is their styling lotion, which is intended for use on wet hair, prior to blow drying. It offers hold for more volume, and is recommended for fine hair as it swells the hair’s cuticle to assist in getting volume from a blow dry. I was the lead stylist at a Bumble and Bumble salon for about a year, and I never heard of that product being used in that way. I hope that helps - I want you to find a real heat protectant to help you and your hair! Much love, Becca.
When a blind person can curl their hair better than you.... you did an amazing job and I'm so addicted to your videos now and you are such an inspiration to both blind and sighted people, please keep posting because they are so amazing!
Just some tips, on each side especially in the front, curl the hair away from your face instead of toward. (I think it looks fine on you either way, I just heard its better to curl it that way I don't know haha) 2. If you get heat protectant gloves you can start the curl lower so you have less of a straight end. 3. Also when you've already heated the curl and you're pulling it out of the curling iron, please don't pull it sideways haha, you might mess up the curl that way. After opening the clamp, try slowly pulling it down. 4. I think the front curls might be turning out better for you because I think you made the curl go higher than the others.
Your hair is beautiful. I also love fashion, hair and makeup as well. It's so neat to see you do your hair and it turned out very nice. Great job Molly!
Hi Molly! You can brush anti-static spray through your hair to help keep the static down. As a fellow northern girl (Minnesota) this has worked wonders for dry winter hair! I buy mine at Walmart or Target in the laundry section.
Hey Molly! I loooove your videos, you're such a breath of fresh air. I just dropped by to add that, in case you might want an even safer curler that could curl your hair all the way down to the end, you might want to try the Conair Infiniti Pro. It does everything for you (no need to twist your hair around the barrel or stop it manually), and the curls are beautiful. Keep the tutorials coming!
Hi Molly! I really enjoyed watching this! I like curling my hair but find it difficult to curl my hair with my narrow field of vision. So excited to see this way to curl hair!!!
Hey Molly! This looks really beautiful. As for tips, from someone with a very similar hair texture to yours, I would say alternate the buttons on the left and right as you're curling. This will make the curls go both towards your face and away from your face, giving it more texture. I find this gives me more volume and keeps the curls from turning into one big curl after some time, it also tends to make it look more "natural" if that's possible! My sister is a hairdresser, if it wasn't for her I wouldn't know a single thing about hair haha
You did an amazing job! Way better than I can with being able to see. The curls turned out great! I'm so happy you were able to buy this product and be able to successfully use it!
Wow, your hair is beautiful! My cousin has the same features as you. Very dark hair, very fair skin, and green eyes- she's mostly Irish as well. I love you and your videos!
I found this tutorial to be very informative, so I’ll definitely thank you for that. Toward the end of the video, Molly, you encourage blind females to just go for it if there is something we want to try. You state, “especially if you’re young”, however. Is that how you truly feel? That trying to improve or experiment with our appearances is only worth truly trying for if we’re young? And if so, why?
I’m sighted and I always straighten my hair without a mirror and I’ve even have done it in the dark. And I find it so cool how well you can do things in a mostly “normal” fashion. And it’s fascinating to see how many things us sighted people take for granted.
I've wondered how easy or hard it is to make these auto-curlers work - - I've used typical curlers without tons of success, I think my straightener does the best job, but now you have me considering one of these!! I'd think it'd be troublesome with long hair! Love watching your videos :)
Molly your hair looks beautiful! The curls look bomb and your hair is so bouncy & healthy. I haven't ever gotten the hang of curling my hair with eyeballs AND a mirror.
Wow you definitely curl your hair just as fast as any sighted person c: and it looks beautiful and perfect. I do have one tiny recommendation, when you clamp your hair make sure your hair continues the spiral up to the ends. Sometimes you create a kink because the hair is folded over the iron clip. It's a simple mistake that everyone does at one point :3 For Example: Lets say you're curling the right side of your hair, you grab a strand, and you wish to do a clockwise curl (meaning if you were to look at the tip of the curling iron and the cord were facing away from you) you'd want the clip of the curling iron to be in the direction your body is facing (rather than the direction your back is facing) so that the curl continues the entire time in the clockwise direction spiraling downwards. I'm sorry if that was confusing but if that was confusing try this. With the curling iron unplugged and cool, clip your hair as you would do normally while being aware of where the clip is facing (Front, or Back) Then spin your curling iron in one direction, feel where you clipped your hair starting at the ends, the hair should not fold over the clip as this will create a kink. Rotate towards the ends of your hair rather than towards! Why didn't I just say that earlier D: sorry for the confusion. I hope I helped :D Take care!
Yeah, I've heard a few states have started to get Garages but not many. It's originally a Canadian store though. We've had it here for YEARS! :) And they're everywhere hahahah
My hair is pretty similar to yours in both length and texture, just a little less straight.I don't own a curling iron and rarely feel like I need it but often texturize my hair by braiding it while it's still a little damp and then sleeping with it, which is a really simple thing to do. My arms hurt as hell afterwards lol but it's worth it as it takes less time than using heat and is also less damaging. I usually do it in bed before I go to sleep while watching a video (so without a mirror too) and the results are great. However, it stays wavy the longest when you actually wear the braid(s) as a hairstyle for a day, sleep with it again and undo it the second morning. And I always get a lot of compliments on this! And there is no risk of burning yourself lol.
this was an amazing tutorial and the curls looks amazing, however you asked for tips, i have been to hair dresser training a few times and a few people i my family are hairdressers. when you take your hair off the curler i recomend that you pull the curling wand downwards when taking the hair off it instead of pulling the hair off sideways and unraveling it off, however the curls looked amazing and this was filmed a while ago but i loved it xxxxxx keep doing what you’re doing xxxxx
Wow, you did a great job. Being able to curl your hair is clearly not outside of your ability. It just goes to show that determination makes all the difference.
I like that idea of spraying product onto the brush! What a great curling iron! I'm fully sighted, but have always been afraid of curling irons and burning myself. You look so cute - kinda 60's retro. TFS!
Hey Molly! I really like your top! The other day I was doing homework while listening to music on RUclips and a commercial went on and I heard a familiar voice. And it was you! I didn't know you were in a commercial, how cool!
Hey Molly, you probably won't read this since it's on an older video but you did an awesome job with your hair! I also sometimes curl mine without looking in the mirror and since the curling wand is so hot you can really feel it radiating with your hand and head - so if you are slow and careful indeed it's not that difficult to do it without seeing! :) Oh and also it takes me 30 mins to an hour to do mine too. A lot of hair = a lot of time I guess. I have another suggestion for you - have you tried hot rollers? They are nice because while they are quite warm they are not burning hot and you can touch them with your fingers. They are a bit old fashioned but I love them for making soft waves. My hair is a different texture than yours but they work great for me. Maybe something to try out. When I use them I do it without a mirror sometimes with no problem. Have a great day!
I am sighted and use this same method! lol I just stumbled up on your channel and subscribed a few weeks ago and have found you to be such an inspiration! Keep on following your light and do you girl, you're amazing!
I'm sighted and I don't even bother doing my hair lol. I very rarely use heat tools on it and it's either usually in a ponytail or some variation of a bun, or loose and naturally wavy. Good on you for actually taking the time and putting in the effort.
I’m a sighted person and have been trying to teach myself how to curl my hair. I’ve tried the flat iron, wavers and curling iron and wands. I suck. But I will keep trying. Molly you do a freaking amazing job! You go girl! But I really want this curling iron maybe this will bed just what I need! What kind is it and where did you find it. And also I am struggling so bad in life right now, I just want you to know how much I appreciate you and your videos!! You are very inspiring!!
I find it cool how both of our names are Molly and have the opposite conditions. You're blind and I'm half deaf (left ear). :') I never knew about that hair brush and hairspray trick and it has saved me a lot of pain since I've started to use it, so thank you for the advice. I'm a sighted person and you literally do a much better job at hair and makeup than I ever could do!
hottamolly I'm half deaf in my left ear too!!! It makes volume adjusting kinda hard especially when speaking and sometimes I'm too loud on the phone because the volume is messed up lol luckily, I always tell people I know that around me to tap me on the shoulder or something so I can adjust.
Your curls look great! My one suggestion would be to try and put the clamp on closer to the end of your hair to make sure your curls get all the way to the end. Love your videos! :)

Your hair looks nice! As someone with naturally curly hair, I thought you might appreciate knowing that my bottom layer of hair is almost straight sometimes. I think this is common for many people with curly hair since the bottom gets kinda squished and weighed down. I tend to straighten my hair without a mirror. I follow a similar parting technique and just go by touch.
Words cannot convey how much I love your hair, straight or curled. A lot of people mention how far from the bottom you hold the curler, but even as a sighted person I get scared to get too close. Maybe if you try closing the clip on the curler and sliding it down to the very ends? Also, I noticed that you always clip the hair chunks in the same direction, so when you reverse the direction of the curler some of the curls end up with kinked, bent ends because they were curled the opposite way they were clipped. I did an awful job of explaining that, hopefully it makes some sense.
I have long and very curly hair and I often straighten my hair without a mirror because you're right, doing your hair in bed is awesome! 😊 My only tip is to grab bigger chunks of hair. I like the beachy waves too and after years of experimenting I found that bigger chunks of hair make beachy curls. 😊
You did a really good job! I love your videos and you are so talented. The only tip I would give you with curling your hair the hair piece closest to your face make sure you curl them away from your face.
I have shoulder length hair and for me it takes about 1 hour to curl. I have a curling wand. The only problem I've got is that i usually have a flat part at the back of my head since I curl it on the sides so I have to go back and curl that when I'm done. Lots of love from Sweden
Hey Molly i just saw your Dove commercial, it was fantastic you look gorgeous ! it was funny i was listening to the commercial and thought of you and then I look up and see you. Super exciting!
Your curls look amazing, and you take a tonne less time to curl your hair than me and I am sighted. I actually really like the idea of spraying product into the brush, because I have a big tendency to overuse products especially heat protectant. I realise heat protector is important but I use to much that it's greasy and heavy. I'm totally stealing that trick from you 💜💜💜
You are so beautiful, Molly! I can't wait until my hair is as long as yours! Have you ever tried using hot rollers? I have very straight hair too, and having them in my hair for a while really helps the curls stay. Love your videos.
your curls look better than mine ever do even after the hair dresser! my hair is also super straight so i may actually try your hair spray in the brush technique and this curling iron
You did really well!! The only tip I can give you (but it's not something you have to do) is when curling try to place the ends of the hair the direction you are curling so you don't crimp the ends. Good job!! 😊
I love your outfit and makeup today! You look beautiful! You did an amazing job curling your hair! I love the beachy waves! They are gorgeous! Awesome video! Have a great week! xoxo
Just thought I'd mention it so. you don't have to waste precious finger energy explaining it in the comments! hahaha
All other comments and suggestions are super appreciated though. :)
Much love to you all!
"It might not look perfect" ARE YOU KIDDING ME? IT'S PERFECT!
I finally saw the Dove commercial everyone has been talking about! I loved it! You did an amazing job :)
I didn't know she had done this! I just watched it, and she did do a great job!
Nacole Brooke Beauty ik! yesterday as I was commenting on her video the commercial came on
Oh! That was her?!? Awesome!!
Rebekah Wood I noticed this too and jumped into the comments just to see if anyone else had noticed.
Your hair looks so pretty curled! I can't believe you're able to not burn yourself, the only tip I'd give you is to try curling the pieces closer to your face aways away from your face so it looks kinda wind blown
I find that curling my front pieces towards my face always lays better than away from my face, probably because my hair is naturally curly so it always wants to do weird things lol but i always encourage people to try curling those bits towards their face because it can give you a different look from the standard method
thatS what i was thinking
I'm a sighted person and I spray my brush instead of my hair, too! I feel like it distributes product more evenly!
Agreed!! More sighties should try it out!
Molly Burke
yes!! I also spray my brush with hair spray !!
my hair is blonde and it holds curl well..I tend to spray my brush, and use my
"Instyler" to straighten it!!
Katie Nunan that was the tip I had as well. other than that you did better than I can. looks so Pretty Molly. :)
+
Another way to say this that might be helpful is - push the button that is farther away from you. This rotates the barrel so the hair in the clip doesn't go back over itself immediately creating a kink. But I was surprised that I couldn't tell when Molly was all done!
I was gonna say that too :) and you also have to consider which way the clip is facing.. it changed when you were switching hands! But really, great job! I need this curling iron :D
+
I'll actually do this by feel at times.
Molly, your makeup and outfit look especially good today!
**impatiently waiting my hair to grow long and pretty like Molly's**
Raven Mortensen Same ._. I'm at 15cm
When my hair is wet it's passed my shoulder blades, but when it curls up and dries it's just passed my shoulders.... Haven't measured it though
Lucky!
It's taken 3 years :D It was at my ear before I started growing it out and researching hair care
I have, it works wonders! Except I used a custom blend of oils ;)
I bought this and the NEW version beeps. I just wanted to let you know.
Meebles Sporella hey Meebles!
Meebles Sporella can I have the brand please? It looks like the best curler I've found yet :)
Yes, brand please!
Melinda Tori it’s a beachwaver
Mary Sanchez it’s a beachwaver
Molly, I love that you don't let your disability stop you from mastering the things you want to do. You did a great job with this and the finished product looks so beautiful! Thank you for your videos. xo
It takes me about an hour to straighten my hair and to curl my hair is an entire other story!! Lol . . . I love your channel, I found out about you a few months ago and found more out about blind people than my entire family all together knows, JUST from you!! You really have some smart techniques on how to do things normal people claim the blind/visually impaired can't do. You truly are a clever, inspirational, and beautiful role model. I love what you do and please keep doing it!
it actually does look perfect!
Looks amazing!! People underestimate people's abilities when it seems impossible. All it takes is determination and patience! Love you. So inspiring
Your hair turned out beautifully - not for someone who's visually impaired, it's just plain beautiful.
On your front pieces of hair it's better to curl away from your face. It frames the face better. I would also say that a curling glove or heat protectant one sometimes is provided with the curling wand but I'm sure you can buy one because it would prevent burns.
Oh and I would say that bigger chunks of hair look really nice than the smaller sections. I think it takes less time too.
Bigger chunks might be trickier to do with a rotating wand like that.
hydragnb oh yeah that makes sense.

The finished look looked absolutely amazing. you're so gorgeous!
You are such an inspiration! I can't even curl my hair with eyesight! I love you!!!
Keep it up.
xoxo
Erin from Nova Scotia
I'm obsessed with you're channel! You're so adorable, a delight to watch and such a down to earth person :) Can't wait to see what video you post next. xxx
You are so disciplined!
I tend to forget to straighten parts of my hair *with* a mirror lol, and you remember which parts you've straightened or not without looking.
Honestly this video was so helpful for me even though I'm sighted, cause I get so distracted with the straightening that I miss parts, I loved the "done in the back, to do in the front technique"
loved the video!
Molly! just saw your Dove commercial! You go girl!!! 💖💐💖
You're so amazing and I admire your positivity and determination so much!! ❤😊 x
The end result looks great! It's so interesting to see how you do it without seeing it.
Great, I'll give that a try, thanks!
(I think it looks fine on you either way, I just heard its better to curl it that way I don't know haha)
The curls look super pretty!!! It really suits you!
Girl I need to try this!!!! I've just always stuck with doing my curls with a straightener to save myself but this tool seems so much better.
Hi Molly! I really enjoyed watching this! I like curling my hair but find it difficult to curl my hair with my narrow field of vision. So excited to see this way to curl hair!!!
The intro was such an amazing message.
You look gorgeous with curls, like a real antique doll :) great tip about spraying the brush, will try that!
I don't know how I ended here but you're so cuuuute, and the curls look so good on you! I loved this
Girl, those curls are so pretty!
Wow, your hair is beautiful! My cousin has the same features as you. Very dark hair, very fair skin, and green eyes- she's mostly Irish as well. I love you and your videos!
Girl, I just saw you on TV!
How amazing! You're fantastic.
Those curls look amazing!!
I haven't ever gotten the hang of curling my hair with eyeballs AND a mirror.
oh my gosh your hair looks so soft! its so pretty!!
Your hair is really pretty when it's curled!! 😍😍😍
It's a simple mistake that everyone does at one point :3
For Example: Lets say you're curling the right side of your hair, you grab a strand, and you wish to do a clockwise curl (meaning if you were to look at the tip of the curling iron and the cord were facing away from you) you'd want the clip of the curling iron to be in the direction your body is facing (rather than the direction your back is facing) so that the curl continues the entire time in the clockwise direction spiraling downwards.
Hi Molly, where did you get your top? I really like it! 😋
A Canadian store called Garage! :)
We have Garage here in the states too! :D
We do? o.o
Yeah, I've heard a few states have started to get Garages but not many. It's originally a Canadian store though. We've had it here for YEARS! :) And they're everywhere hahahah
we do!! I've gotten something from there in my local mall in washington
I am sighted and use this same method! lol
I just stumbled up on your channel and subscribed a few weeks ago and have found you to be such an inspiration!
Keep on following your light and do you girl, you're amazing!
You are such an inspiring person! Lost of love from Serbia
Omg those curls are so good you do it better than me 😍
I'm sighted and I don't even bother doing my hair lol.
You have absolutely gorgeous hair. :)
Molly I love your channel can you make a link to where you can find the hair curler?
I love it Molly!! My hair is short/medium and very thin but sometimes I do curl it... certainly you did a far better job though! Love your hair!!
Very very impressed. Really looks beautiful. Good for you
Your curls look great!
You're amazing, positive and an inspiration!
your hair and bangs are just so cute I love it
Words cannot convey how much I love your hair, straight or curled.
Your hair came out beautiful! I'm sighted and I can't curl my hair! You just gave me some tips that I will try.
Good job!! 😊
This is awesome !! The curls are beautiful!!!
for a couple of them you put a crimp in the end, because you went the opposite way that the hair was placed. your hair is so gorgeous btw 😍😍
I love your outfit and makeup today! You look beautiful! You did an amazing job curling your hair! I love the beachy waves! They are gorgeous! Awesome video! Have a great week! xoxo
