Just a thought Gary.. could the splinter camouflage decals be used as painting templates instead? That would avoid the bullet of getting them to conform to the surface.
It wouldn't surprise me if they sold it in a box with crew in the future. They did it with the G7107, selling the "US Infantry Patrol" set of the truck with four figures (including the driver!).
Great review as always when you see that many parts it can be a bit daunting it's a bit like the Gecko 1/35 KATY l looked at lots of parts 😨so l ran away and bought the Airfix one but now l realise you have to go out of your comfort zone or never improve so sort of regret that, so hope you do the splinter camouflage one l know you haven't done much armour but l have a feeling this is going to be a great build 👍
Gee! The Kozak looks a lot like the Australian Bushmaster, of which there are a lot now in the Ukraine. Obviously, form follows function. But the dates on the examples pre-date the arrival of teh Bushmasters in the Ukraine. Do you think that ICM would produce a kit of the Bushmaster? Maybe in the next five years there will be a whole Ukrainian War catalogue. I can tell you how to make a Russian tank from that catalogue - Put the box on the floor and tread on it before opening and commencing the build :)
@@garys_stuff How can a country that is fighting a war continue to produce peacetime products? Is it PC to say that we modelers should be supporting the Ukrainians by buying these kits?
@@markadams5462 it is amazing. I made a couple of videos about helping Ukrainian people by buying their kits, following excellent videos by Nigels Modelling Bench and by Gavin Booth. Thing is, not only does it give support to the locals by providing employment and income, but there's the long term to consider. When this madness is over, many companies in Ukraine will be looking for overseas investment. The first ones to get it will be the ones with the healthier balance sheets. So if we can keep the likes of ICM, Roden, MikroMir, MiniArt and all the rest going, then they stand a better chance. You can always check on Scalemates to see if a company is based in Ukraine - there are an astonishing number of them!
@@markadams5462 I really don't know. It is incredible that companies like ICM, Mikromir, MiniArt, Rodent and so very many others are not just producing stock but also new toolings and designing new kits. I have published videos about this, and I think it is good to support Ukrainian companies right now. Firstly, it generates foreign income which helps companies keep their staff paid. Secondly, when all this madness is finally over, overseas investors will be looking to Ukraine's industry and the companies they invest in first will be the ones with healthy order books. So, supporting them now means they will be in a better position when the time comes.
I love ICM kits. Always very good
Their vehicles, or at least the ones I've seen, have been excellent. The newer aircraft too. Really upping the game.
That looks like a fantastic kit, can't wait to see you tackle that camouflage!
You and me both!
Fascinating piece of kit with tons of detail. Interesting cam schemes
Good luck!
Super looking kit Gary, I think that I agree with you on the colour scheme, that grey camouflage really stands out.
Thanks Gary. I’m looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.
Looks like a very interesting kit from ICM looking forward to the full build Gary xx 🚚
It looks a very nice kit and a good comprehensive build. I've made a few ICM kits and none have been a disappointment.
Cracking looking kit Gary. Can't wait to see the build.
Thank you for sharing this review.
That looks a beauty! 👍
The build video(s) will be fascinating; can't wait! 😀
To be fair I can't wait to make a start on it!

Maybe, I'll just use plenty of Micro Sol...!
good vid thanks lee
A very comprehensive kit. Shame their is no crew members, even just a driver would be a nice addition. 🇬🇧🌈🇺🇦🙏♥️👍

Wow!
That would take me two months never mind two weeks AND videoing it at the same time!
Do you sleep? 😂
Ian
Sleep? Never.

Who knows Mark? I wouldn't rule it out entirely.
