Cleaning a very dirty motorcycle chain after 19,000 kms of hard use or maybe abuse

I tend to try and do mine every 500 miles, less if its been wet.
I still have the horrible Original chain on my V-Strom quality doesn't look that good

I have always used paraffin to clean and gearbox oil to lubricate my chains they last great and its very cheap. Im a tight old git🤣

Same, my chains will do about 20k. Never had an issue. I don't soak em though.
