In this episod I do install the second headlight, and doing a test run on the same dark road, like I did last time. Links: ● / norwayvanagon ● / norway_vanagon
It is a common problem that indicators which are integrated in the LED-headlights are nearly not visible. For safety reasons i wouldn´t recommend that except you have additional indicators as you have on your car. Maybe it is hard to see in the video but when you switch from short to long it looks more that you switched on the foglights. But it is interesting at all and surely helps another people.
Regarding the low and high beam, I agree with you. But it could also be that the lights as a little too high. But then again, they are weeker then the stock H4 headlights.
hi italjohn, thanks for this video, can you upload a video on how to install parking light bulb inside the indicator and how to wire it? also can you put the links for the ready wired led bulb holder and the white led bulbs bag? many thanks and keep the good works.
Get DOT SAE rated headlights. not those from china. it will last longer too. Also, oncoming blue headlights blinds me and is a safety issue . please stick to 3300K to 4300K headlights.
Even the ‘good’ indicator is bad... best just unplug the indicator function from the angel eye. The high beam/long is next to useless too. Take a look at Morimoto for decent units
Bought mine of eBay. Just search for 7" jeep headlight. The problem is that you don't know what you get, so you could be lucky and get a good set, and you may not. I order a new set from a buyer that sells good ones, but when it arrived it was a bad one 😬.
So john i recently buy me a set of the jeep headlights, but it start to disfunction, on the turn signal it flicker white and not orange.. what i wanna ask from your side,is it that one light is it original and ghe other one is it fake ?
Bought some LEDs too and was already wondering how to install them without the screws haha. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the commet, glad you found the video useful 😀
I really enjoy your videos and am jealous of your shop and your skills sir!
Thank you for the nice comment sir
Led bulbs are great too , you keep the stock look and you get an brighter light . That's what I will do in the future
Yes, my lab tests show that as well. Will try to do a video with the LED bulbs as well.
Got a box from Osram today. They have sent me 2 pc of LED H4 bulbs that I will test soon.
Italjohn13 osram is great , what did they cost and do they exist in yellow ?
I got them for free from a Osram seller that was visiting our factory. See www.glamox.com

I might install two relays so they switch off the DLR when the indicators are working.
Italjohn13 - I’d imagine a timed relay would work
Why not just wire the park light to the DRL ring?
Yes you can do that to, but since my car had the drl lights from original, I choose to wire the this way.
