Great video! I just found out i drew unit 27 archery bull for the 5th time in 16 years. I usually hunt closer to Alpine and have some great spots but i love that you are expanding my horizons! I took my younger two boys hiking some of Lengthy canyon/trail and Pipestem creek/trail over the last couple days on their spring break. We didn't see any elk and very little sign in Lengthy. I'm sure Pipestem is a bit low but we had fun.

Have not been in this year, I always thought I would go into bear mountain wallow area or that Luce wallow if I had the early hunt, seen some real nice bulls down by bear mountain early on in the season, then they disappear after the rut, look at the big bulls and Coues deer video and you can see some of the bulls that hang around bear mountain, they are from a trail camera before they passed the law so years old, but those big bulls still hang around there, then there on madness peak there is a nice wallow too, right now the blue is to high to get down to bear mountain, will have to wait until the run off slows down, but you can get to the other wallows.

@@scoutitsheditsherwoodit Thanks! Too many options, I have watched most of your unit 27 videos (among others) plus all the other spots I have scouted and hunted in the past leaves me with only 2 weeks to hunt when there is a lifetime of mountains, creeks and canyons to choose from! On another note, I took some pictures of a man made rock formation along Pipestem that I wondered what it could be. Ever been down that trail?

I have been asked this before, and really I just get out a lot and have 100's of these spots and don't mind sharing some, I only share spots I found on my own, there are some spots someone else shared with me and I don't share those. I like to think someone else will use that spot and get a nice bull or elk, but I hope they treat it well.

I’ve been enjoying your videos! I’m curious if you are seeing lots of berries this year in the areas you scout? Thanks!

Not sense I was a kid and rode in there on a deer hunt with my dad. Alma Mesa, is the closest I have been lately.
