Everything spoken here about Dr Wellington is true. I've known him for years since working at the hospital since 1994. He was an amazing person and I will always cherish every moment I spent with him getting some solid advise and life lessons that has stayed with me throughout the years. May His soul rest in peace. When I asked to volunteer at Mandeville Hospital prior to starting my internship, he said: "Oh sure!" I was treated as a full fledged intern by him. He was truly an inspiration. There should be a Peter Wellington Memorial Lecture Series.
Absolutely! He embodied "I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as a science, and that warmth and sympathy and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug." Tamara Green
I totally agree to start that lecture series .As a retired nurse who had worked with him from kph in the orthopaedic clinic as an student nurse and meeting him again at Mandeville hospital then now Mandeville REGIONAL HOSPITAL. Mr Wellington was the first Doctor to start a monthly SYMPOSIUM on the compound of the same hospital until it was relocated to the Ingleside Wellness & Recreation Center .This is a legacy to the Medical and nursng field for creditation . We truly miss you Mr. Wellington and condolences to Mrs Wellington and the rest of the family.
So sad to learn of Dr. Wellington's passing. When I worked at Mandeville Regional Hospital as an RN I always admired his warm personality and the respect he showed for people in general. My condolences to his family, colleagues and friends.
Nice service, I just want to share that the bible states that when a man dies even his very thoughts perish. This means that while we are alive we have to make our calling and election sure. There is no repentance in the grave. No amount of prayers over your dead body can propel you into heaven
Nobody goes to heaven or hell when they die, they remain in the grave until Christ comes, pure foolishness this man talking bout welcome Peter into paradise.people read ur bibles and stop being misled by fables. If we went to heaven or hell when we die why would Jesus come again to reward us according to our works

This is one Dr who never charge a nurse for his service.l am an old nurse and he knew our pay was small May his soul rest in peace .Love is the word
