👁 Not quite feeling hypnotized? That’s okay! Hypnosis, like amnesia, can take a little time to kick in. Think of your mind as a blank slate, ready to reset. Here are some tips to help you use the eye-roll technique and drift into that forgetful, hypnotic state. 🌀
Let your eyes lead the way. 👁 Every time you roll your eyes up, imagine you’re letting go of everything-thoughts, tension, even time itself. With each roll, your mind goes blank, like erasing a chalkboard. 🧠✨
Don’t worry about trying to remember. 🤔 The beauty of amnesia is you don’t need to focus on remembering. Just let your mind drift naturally. The more you let go, the more deeply you’ll sink into hypnosis without even realizing it.
Create a blank space. 📜 Find a quiet spot where you can let your thoughts dissolve. Use headphones 🎧, and let the eye-rolls be your guide into that empty, peaceful place where amnesia takes over.
Amnesia builds over time. 🔄 The more you rewatch this video, the easier it will be to slip into that blank, forgetful state. Each eye-roll will bring you closer to that hypnotic amnesia, where thoughts just fade away.
Trust the forgetfulness. 💭 Your mind is capable of letting go completely. With every roll of your eyes, you erase a little more until your thoughts are blank. Just like wiping a hard drive, each session clears away more, making room for deeper hypnosis.

This is not as big a deal: you seem to kinda mix up amnesia and hypnosis. This seems great for trying to help with the amnesia, but you can still be fully hypnotized and not have the amnesia part work.
I would recommend a different strategy if your problem is that you can't seem to get hypnotized.
1. Find a beginner hypnosis script that takes its time and explains away misconceptions. I personally recommend TheLadyAurora's "New to Hypno." And if the hypnosis you get there is still the light "can't really tell for sure" type, then add step 2:
2. Find a confusion-based hypnosis induction, one that will suggest that you find it easier to get hypnotized.

Also, bonus. For the easiest amnesia I've ever gotten, try hypnotingle's "Confuse you to Sleep." It doesn't need a trigger at all. Because it tells you that you don't have to remember anything unimportant. And since it's confusion based, that's basically everything in the file.
I tried it, and I experienced the amnesia as it was happening. I could actively try to remember what she'd said one sentence ago, and I couldn't. And that made sense to me, as that often happens to me when I'm sleepy. Which I think she relies on.
It's amnesia without the idea of needing to forget what's going on right now. And it's permissive: allowing you to remember anything you want to remember, getting rid of the idea of being made to forget. You're *choosing* to forget.
It's a softer introduction to the concept, and one I treasure--as it also is a great help with insomnia!
(Disclosure: hypnotingles was the first person to get me into trance. Originally I thought it was in her "get high" video, but I later remembered it was her sleep video. Forgetting seemed so natural, I didn't realize I had been in trance.)
