I bought a 2500 watt reliable back in 2018, after watching your videos and a couple other off-gridders videos on them. it's practically run 24/7 since then and so far hasn't let me down. This new one looks like a good upgrade to that one.
@ man I’ve been following you since you were plugging inverters into the wall to charge back. I just enjoy seeing what you got going on. I had a solar system at my house and now I live in an apartment and built a backup solar power system. I like the inverter videos and the updates about solar.
do you have the ground and neutral wires ran from the inverter to the panel? i have the 6000W split-phase unit and was told by "Reliable" not to bond them as it would blow out the inverter when i emailed them and questioned them on how to connect the netraul and ground.
@ So the inverter is actually a 5000w unit and not the 6000w stated earlier. Also measuring for the case ground to neutral i get 77 VAC, from L1 - N = 119 VAC L2 - N = 119 VAC L1 - L2 = 239 VAC L1 - gnd = 131 VAC L1 - gnd = 131 VAC So sure not like yours
My wzrelb 3000w 24v 120v unit came with lovely 16awg wire for the receptacle that can supposedly handle the 3k watts. Are they still using the 095R0NT MOSFETs and 60N60FD1 IGBTs?
they can get away with that because of the cooling fans help keep the wires cool. its similar to how car manufactures can get away with thinner wires as well.
Well pumps are funny my 5000 120volt Calpha runs a 240 volt deep well pump through a transformer with no problems and only draws 2000 watts. Well pumps are built to the demand the well can handle so it won't go dry. My well at the cabin only can do 4 gallon a minute so don't need high flow pump but it is 200 feet deep.
im 90% sure on its own it would start it. i think what happened was the surge of the well pump stopped all the fridge and freezer pumps in the house making a sort of short circuit.

How’s the solar doing? Solar been keeping up or are using the generator a lot?

I use a Reliable 300-watt and a 200-watt Inverter daily. So far, there have been no problems

@@jeffconway8958 mine was similar. if you try to run a light bulb from neutral and ground and get no light, you can bind them if they are like mine.
How does your Genetry solar 6k run all of this and did you ever get one of the 12k
it runs the same load and more, still have it and like it. no 12k :(
