So, I’ll say this…I’m old. I’m 54 and one of my kids has gotten literally our whole family into Stray Kids. I’ve been to some epic concerts in my life. I’ve seen Prince, Bon Jovi, Gwen Stefani, and Ricky Martin among others. Last summer I saw Stray Kids 3 times and I have to say, I’ve NEVER seen a show like the one they put on. Their energy, production, choreography, vocals, just everything…was so incredibly outstanding. If you ever get the chance to go see them…don’t turn it down. Their concerts are a real treat!
I don't know how budgeting works for these award shows but stray kids always go above and beyond for award show performances. They have huge productions and chan always does different versions of the song for each award show. So you're never going to get bored of watching them do the same performance over and over again
Stray Kids are literally one of the coolest 4th gen groups. They were the first K-pop group I ever checked out and let me tell you, I learned every little thing I could about them and binged their entire discography and pretty much any video I could come across. Hardcore Stay for life!

Considering the fact that they almost didn’t have a performance as their Korean backup dancers couldn’t get to Japan, so in 1 day Japanese dancers had to learn all the choreography it’s impressive. Also, Chan said that without dancers performing would be impossible. I can imagine the level of stress before Mama😮😢❤. It was amazing ❤😊.
Both Hyunjin and IN collapsed on stage as soon as the main cameras came off. They had to do it all the practice in a big hallway and were napping in the dressing rooms.
Skz killed it! That's the way to close a show 🔥 The energy they had was incredible. Hyunjin coming down from a spider web was epic! I agree with the others, their performances at MAMA and Kingdom: Legendary War are definitely worth watching!

Man, MAMA's 2020 performance was a handful too, they did Victory Song and they crushed the whole stage as an introduction for the Kingdom competition, we just knew they would win because of that performance.
I'm 53 and I love them. My daughter got me into them last year. We were supposed to see them in Atlanta in July but got postponed til March I can't wait and I love them
I'm glad you saw this! I loved this performance so much and want to see them live again because it was so much fun when I went to their 2022 LA D2 concert. I can only imagine being there in person cuz this was even better than the concert since they didn't have to pace themselves for a multi hour performance. I just wish the camera work/editing was better because I feel like we missed a lot of the little details due to the excessive amount of wide shots 😔. Maybe they'll release it again with more and better focus and angles on the boys. I'm so proud of them and they put their all into this with them practically or literally collapsing for a bit once the "ending fairy" posing was done. I hope we get some amazing fancams 🤞

So glad you reacted to this, I thought you might enjoy it! We're all boggled by the amazingness but this performance almost didn't happen. Three of STRAY KIDS were sick with COVID the week before - the fact that they were able to perform at this level of intensity just blew my mind. In Sunday's CHAN'S ROOM, Bang Chan had nothing but praise for the Japanese dancers, saying that their last minute joining in was the only reason the performance could happen at all - the fact that they had only just last minute joined rehearsals with them is amazing. It would be interesting to know whether a trained dancer could tell. SKZ-TALKER Ep. 52 just dropped (but no English subtitles yet - usually takes a day or two) it might interest you because it shows them preparing for this specific performance - doing a run-through with the dancers, practicing their Japanese, the boredom of behind stage, the exhaustion...etc etc. Fascinating. Also a small bit of MAMA 2022 Day 2 when 3RACHA performed and STRAY KIDS won their third award of the 2022 MAMAs - interesting watching them watching their performances back etc. I'd be curious what your response to the MAMA 2022 3RACHA performance is - very different from STRAY KIDS (even though they're three of the STRAY KIDS members and produce almost all STRAY KIDS songs between them) but it is a poem they created specifically for MAMA and includes Tiger JK and Jung Jae-Il in the performance. Unexpected, but definitely worth a look - definitely grows on you (but I'm a 3RACHA fan, so I'm probably biased)!
I recommend you to watch their performances at mamas 2021 and their performance last christmas where they did thunderous. I also recommend you to listen the original version of venom and watch the MV cause one thing of stray kids is that their songs aren't the original at the awards shows they always show you another version that they create just for it, that's a really cool thing if you read the title of the songs while watching the performance it says venom (mama ver.) and maniac (mama ver.) they're amazing

Looooooved their performance. HATED the freaking camera work. I wanted to see more of them and not it pulled out so much that it felt like I couldn't see the choreo. Luckily there are fancams and I recommend watching those to get a better feel for the choreo :D You should check out the regular Venom MV! Both Venom and Maniac in mama were remixed versions - both fire! Hyunjin coming down from the spider... like being let out of the spider via the spidersilk.
A bunch of folks have recommended the Kingdom performances, I second those suggestions, BUT...those videos got hacked and all the most viewed ones (thus all the Skz ones, which had the highest number of views) disappeared. There is a Russian subs one floating around for God's Ddu du Ddu (the mashup/cover of Blackpink's Ddu du Ddu Du with a touch of God's Menu), and there are some videos that include the reactions of the other performers (Kingdom was a competition show with 6 male kpop idol groups competing to win). Some folks enjoy watching with the reactions, some don't, it certainly interrupts the flow of the performance itself, but the reactions can be funny (funnier if you watched the show and knew the backstories and in jokes, but still amusing without). Anyway, if you want to watch just the performances, you'll have to look pretty hard to find them, and those reactions get blocked hard, so prep some screen interrupters such as you used on this one. It's definitely worth it if you can find them, because they are out the roof epic.

There a bunch of them not on the level like that Taylor one but still good ones. i promise you fell in love with Stray Kids… maybe not in the same way like BTS… the first love in k-Pop is probably the strongest but you will enjoy them too. Stray Kids lives are just as epic as it looks on tv, they have so much stage presence. The last Stray Kids concert I went to was a 3 hour long show with minimal resting time for them and their energy was just up there the whole entire concert. I don't know how they do it. If you ever have a chance to see them live you should go, it was the best concert i've ever been to.
Worth noting, it's not shown in this video, but Jeongin (I.N.) collapsed a few seconds after the performance ended and was helped off stage by the other members. They really put EVERYTHING they have into their performances.

Definitely recommend checking out venom because for award shows they make new arrangements of their songs so the original venom and venom mama version sound different both versions are incredible

I see you enjoy SKZ and they are one of my favorites also...my care has a giant Dwaekki sticker on the back window, but I hope some day you will venture in to ATEEZ. They are very good friends with SKZ and their fans are often referred to as staytiny because they are Stay for SKZ and ATINY for Ateez. Changbin and Wooyoung are best friends...often referred to as Lovey and Dovey. I hope you will give them a try, they make me think of iron maiden as far as the story telling through their music.
