Carrie started out with a veteran band behind her, for good reason, she knew squat about performing and doing a concert.. As Mark Childers pointed out, he put a little tiny X on the stage, where Carrie could see far ahead when Carrie walked out on the stage, she could see it without looking down to see it, but small enough where crowd didn't see it. Once Carrie started singing crowd calmed her down and Carrie was just fine.
Now I know that security guard has double duty. Making sure nobody gets on stage and interfere with Carrie performing and make sure nobody bothers that cream guy filming Carrie which shows up on the video board behind her.
