I'm going there to see my Mother - she said she'd meet me when I come - here's a 67 year old man in tears at those words. My Mum died almost 28 years ago, but she's with me every day - I wear her wedding ring, proudly and with love. Thank you for this beautiful song and your wonderful singing 🙂

The old folk hymn here is one our ancestors on our mother's side sang in the Kentucky hills. We are in our 70's now and our time left is brief. Let us be close again and dear friends again. I remember our choir singing this song. My Uncle died back in 2020, and this hymn reminds me about him going through his trials with the lord. He went home into God's loving arms on 9/13. He loved Christmas, and it's been a bit hard to celebrate, but we always remember that he wouldn't want us to be sad nor weary. He'd want us to be happy and rejoice the Messiah's birth and make more lovely memories with our family and friends.
This hymn means so much more to me now since his passing. I absolutely love your voice and how talented you are. You're truly gifted! When you sang "It Is Well With My Soul", that broke me. That was my Uncle's FAVORITE hymn ever. Thank you Michael for sharing these timeless treasures of praise and worship to us. The world needs God more than ever. The end days are near, and many NEED to hear this. Stay safe everyone, God bless y'all, and I send prayers from Texas! 🤍

Sheet music is generally available, but it may be a slightly different arrangement. Personally, I had never heard this exact arrangement before now, but I like it.
