  • I'm Dan McCoy from RocketTool, and I've just released a new video titled "Creating a Chatbot using Afforai and Typebot in Minutes."
In today's fast-paced world, individuals seek prompt information. We think they are more likely to engage with intelligent chatbots, as they can provide immediate responses, as opposed to waiting for live customer service.
In this tutorial, I walk you through the process of integrating Afforai with Typebot. This integration allows you to create a custom chatbot designed for specific customer interactions and topics.
You can embed this chatbot on your website, and it uses a language model trained on your unique data via Afforai.
This setup will help you craft a smart, responsive chatbot in just 20 minutes. The video is a step-by-step guide and an insightful look into the world of AI chatbot creation. It's an essential watch for anyone eager to enhance their digital customer engagement.

This was a very clear and helpful tutorial. Thanks so much!
While testing my bot out after following your instructions, I noticed that the answers I was getting included information that wasn't in the documents I uploaded in Afforai. Then I realized that the API Example Request from Afforai that we copied and pasted into the Body section of the Typebot request was configured in Google Search mode: "powerful":false,"google":true. I'm sure you have noticed this by now, but for anyone else watching who wants their bot to only reference materials uploaded to Afforai and not search the internet, edit the API Request to: "powerful":true,"google":false. Thanks again!

We love your product. We have consistently seen the best organic outputs from your algorithm right out of the box than with any other similar tool. It is truly remarkable.

Thanks for the tutorial. One thing that is not clear is whether this connected chat bot can handle the load. If at least 10 people use it at the same time (which is quite small) it may fail. Besides, it takes a long time to generate a response via api. A bot in afforai works much faster.

Those are all good points. The challenge with Afforai (at least now) is that you can't create a public chatbot. So this limits you to having users within the platform Thank you for your comment!

Fantastic tutorial - although that makes it sound quite a bit more complicated than the simplistic demonstration. But I guess that is your good teaching - Many thanks for this!

It would be great to use Embeddable Chatbot Script instead.

Thanks for great tipp! Your tutorial worked fine. One question, in my assistant answer it sows me the number of sources ("【6†source】"). Is it possible to show them (the title or filenames?)?

Do you know how much it will cost to use Afforai and Typebot together?

Hey Dan, are you able to create different “accounts” / “users” in typebot? E.g. if I’m a marketing agency and want to offer chatbots to my clients ? But I want to separate their accounts.
I’ll be using a selfHosted version

    • @RocketTools

Hey there! Thanks for the comment. I think it depends on how you define accounts and users, and what functionality you want the users to have access to. First, on the chatbots - yes, you basically can. They aren't separate accounts but just separate bots. Each bot can be embedded on any client (or multiple clients: we have a content bot that writes blogs, newsletters, creates audio, etc - and we deploy that to multiple clients). We have multiple clients running in our agency account. I hope that made sense. As for users, if you want your client to have access to the bot, then that's where it isn't so easy. Right now users can see all of the bots. I emailed Baptiste about this and I think it might be in the roadmap. I hope this helps!

@@RocketToolsAhhh that’s what I was feeling. So if the clients/users never login to the admin portal, I could create a bot for each client and they’ll never know, as long as I’m doing all the build, not them directly. Correct ?

      @RocketTools  8 месяцев назад

@@speed0383 That's right. You can also have a custom agency CNAME if you want but I think that is an upgrade feature. Your client may know you did it on Typebot if you just share the URL. We've used many of the share options including the , bot, and Javascript - all within the same account to different clients.
