@Airchecks I have the long version of this aircheck...it's like 7 minutes long. A friend at the time worked there part time(Jim Dee) and gave me this one (long), Rick Kramer, Skip O' Brien on 92Q & a Chucker in the Morning on Rock 92 (wherever that was). I have MANY old Uncle Vic tapes I need to digitize & the G-Team in the morning & Joe Bohannon stuff I recorded off the air.
That's the wrong sticker to fit the era...they had the new round sticker with the 98.5 & the little lightning bolts down the sides. I have the long version of this.
Oh man loved that station and all the DJ's I remember winning two albums from that station a Footlose album and the Abacab Album and tickets to a concert that I wasn't intrested in going to so I gave them away lol but still lots of good memories ...wish they could go back to G.98 WGCL and have funny talented DJ's like before and play nothing but music from '79- 90..would be awesome.
cool stuff. dancin danny wright and al roker were the best in the mid 80's. roker was just supposed to stop in and do the weather but they would banter back and forth they could've gone on the road as a comedy duo I found DDW web site a long time ago and told him that lol
