I once had a foster kitten who was also found in a storm, just like Miri. She also was very afraid of rain! Maybe that's part of the reason she hates the rain so much, I remember that she was found alone in a gutter during a storm! So glad she's safe now in the best, best, best home for her in the entire world!

A neighbour rescued her from a gutter during a storm, which is always so dangerous for kittens... cats tend to shelter in gutters when they have kittens, so during a storm, so many kittens end up washed away :( But this neighbour heard Miri and rescued her. She was going to different houses, looking for a new home for her and found Mugumogu and she adopted her! But it's understandable that little Miri is afraid of rain.
It's good to see Miri curious about the macaques, being a little less timid. Perhaps she's learning to draw strength from big brother, Maru, and big sister Hana.

Miri must have figured out that behind tha glass she is safe from the intruders. Very cute standing up on the tip of her toes taking it all in. Hase Maru pooped yet ? Was there a little misunderstanding between Hana and Maru on the big toriyaki. His ears looked like trouble coming if you dont go but she stayed and turned her back on the master. Miri and Hana or Maru and Hana on the windowsill friends when nobody wants to go out in the rain.
Miri is sooooooooooo cute when she gets scared! However, she is becoming a brave kitty since used to hide when the macaques would visit. She is still cute though no matter what!
I dont blame Miri for being scared. I would b too with a wild monkey running in my backyard. It alwaysmakes me curious what prefecture Maru and company live in that they have 🐒 running around. Gunma perhaps ?, somewhere near hot springs towns?
