Today it turns out that you did the cover! and it sounds great !! If I had told a shoegaze fan that Deja vu or Say So might sound good like Shoegaze, they would have lynched me hahaha.
definitely! a lot of modern pop songs have some really cool dreamy melodies lately! you just gotta layer some noisy, reverb-washed guitars on top of them and you got yourself a shoegaze bop.
