I'm don't really know that much about those They are definitely cool. I need to get going on that for Retro Gaming. I do have 90% of original consoles from Atari2600 to PlayStaton2. But not even 1% of total games.👍🏻🇺🇲

I like the classics. They don't take much time to play, and that is what I like about it.
These modern games take too much time. Metal Gear Solid 4 took many hours to play. I played it back in 2007, I didn't play the game continuously. I played it and saved it, and I must have spent about 45 hours playing it. I finished the game, but it was long.
Fallout 3 took hours to play as well. I didn't use any cheat guides to play that, and it took who knows 55 + hours. These newer games, I don't even have time for. LOL
That's why I like the old games, you can play it for 15 minutes to 30 minutes to relieve the stress after a day of work, or play for 10 minutes during lunch time.

@@Ace1000ks19751982 I agree 100%, when save states 1st came out on NES, battery back ups. The Legend Of Zelda, Final Fantasy 1, Dragon Warrior, those games seemed HUGE! Now the games are insanely long! Some never end it seems! Those NES games where GAME CHANGING at the time!👍🏻🇺🇲

@@ZMAN_420 Games like the Legend of Zelda, Ultima, and other types of RPGs did take a long time to play. For computer games, you can save using the floppy drives, and on the NES, you could save games via CR2032 battery.
Back in those days, you really couldn't spend too much time watching those CRT screens. After one hour, you would get a headache. Those TVs and monitors were different from the LCD, and LED monitors we have today. Parents used to tell their kids to say at least 5 to 7 feet away from the CRT screen.

@@Ace1000ks19751982 I just got rid of 2 CRT TVs. They didn't work anymore they were 32" one was a flat screen older one was curved. My Original Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior from the 80's early 90's still save? How have those old batteries lasted 40 plus years? CRAZY! They're stored in plastic tubs in a closet. I bought my first HD TV. Roku 55" it's crazy, the smart TV aspect of it is nice. Lots of free content to watch, including Retro Content!👍🏻🇺🇲

I have the exact same problem. There's an open issue on github. I think they will probably fix on version 40

Hopefully, they come out with a fix for this in the next version of Batocera.
