- Another Tony and Gibbs father/son video. I know - I'm obsessed, LOL. Don't know why the voice with Gibbs saying, "My son, Tony " is not working. I made the video 3 times trying to figure it out and finally gave up.
Anyway, hope you enjoy the video.

tony has a closer father son relationship with gibbs than his own dad. gibbs always has tonys back and tony always has gibbs but tony can not always rely on his father to do the same.

Gibbs and Dinozzo are father and son to me in many ways Tony needs a father and Jethro steps up to the plate they have each others Six always even when they are apart when Tony is agent afloat. Senior tries to make amends but its too late Tony has a dad already a decent Dad who loves him no matter what he does.
I am so obsessed too. Their bond is so strange,but so unbreakable.
I love the last episode of Tony's where Gibbs hugs him and telling him to take care of his family. Soo sweet! They were all his children. He loved McGee too.
this actually makes me get teary eyed... I love the relationship between these two, very father and son, I've always thought of Gibbs as more of Tony's father than senior. I actually really love how Gibbs is the father figure to Ziva and Abby too, McGee too I guess but you don't see that as much as you do with Tony and the girls
This is so adorable I almost can't take it. Love their father/son relationship and you have captured it perfectly.
This is one of the BEST father/son vids of these 2 i've ever seen. works great for me 'cause I've actually put their photos side by side (mark @ around the same age as michael) and there's a really strong resemblance. The 2 actors could believably pull off rolls of father/son in any show. Not 2 mention the way Gibbs/DiNozzo look out for and respond to each other in NCIS. Thanks for a great vid that highlights the strong relationship between these 2.

Oh jeez my comment is 3 NOW, it's older than the comment i responded to *when I had responded to it*.
My favorite moments are 0:40 and 1:32. In the first one, you can see Tony struggling to make a choice. He knows Gibbs would want him to save the girl, she was Kelly's best friend, but he just can't loose Gibbs. The second one is just pure badassery. All he says is "Did you know my boss is a sniper?" and BANG no more bad guy.
NCIS was never the same without Tony , Ziva & Gibbs. Missing them
Thanks. Yeah, that's one of my favorite Gibbs/Tony moments. It shows just how much they mean to one another, without saying one word. That's something that these guys do so well, and the reason that the Tony/Gibbs relationship is the best one of NCIS.

I so love the scene when Tony is in jail and Gibbs hits him on the back of the head to reassure him and then chucks him under the chin - so cute! Awesome vid!

There are very few vids that I like otherwise, 'cuz it doesn't make sense to me, JMO. 3:33 is a mixture of two episodes. Gibbs standing in the doorway is from Season 7 episode, 'Rule 51." Tony sleeping on the couch came from season 4, episode, "Friends and Lovers.' It's actually Jeanne's couch he's asleep on.

@sahmpac Thanks - Tony/Gibbs father/son is why I started watching NCIS and even though I love the show, it's still my favorite relationship. That clip is from Season 8 episode, "Two Faced." Sorry it took so long to reply - facebook won't let me sign on or post under xandercordy1 anymore. *sighs*

No, they are not really father and son - it's their relationship, which I personally feel is the best relationship on NCIS. Gibbs is more of a guiding hand for Tony than Senior, his real father, will ever be.
@xandercordy1 I really really did! And rewatching it now, I remember how I the first time I saw it, really reacted to the part where the song goes "And he wants to be, just like me.." and it's the knife sceen from Flesh and Blood (I think it's from that episode). I really liked that part of the video! It was so easy but still showed so much. Awesome vid yet again!
Gibbs was more like a father than tonys dad was and sometimes that happens in real life

@ultimateCoteDePablof this is xandercordy1 - now this name. In answer to your question, I'm not real sure what you meant by your description - but the scene at 0:02 is when Tony is listening to Gibbs say my son Tony plays that game all the time - it's from the season 4 episode "Sandblast."

No, it's just a strong bond between them two, Gibbs is more of a father to Tony than Tony's real father Senior. Gibbs loves Tony as a son and treats him as one if you really pay attention, he hates how Tony's father treats Tony. Gibbs fills that void in Tony's life. Gibbs has also is a father figure to Abby as her parents are dead and Ziva as her parents are also dead, Her dad dies in this season (10)
