tony has a closer father son relationship with gibbs than his own dad. gibbs always has tonys back and tony always has gibbs but tony can not always rely on his father to do the same.
I love the last episode of Tony's where Gibbs hugs him and telling him to take care of his family. Soo sweet! They were all his children. He loved McGee too.
Gibbs and Dinozzo are father and son to me in many ways Tony needs a father and Jethro steps up to the plate they have each others Six always even when they are apart when Tony is agent afloat. Senior tries to make amends but its too late Tony has a dad already a decent Dad who loves him no matter what he does.
This is one of the BEST father/son vids of these 2 i've ever seen. works great for me 'cause I've actually put their photos side by side (mark @ around the same age as michael) and there's a really strong resemblance. The 2 actors could believably pull off rolls of father/son in any show. Not 2 mention the way Gibbs/DiNozzo look out for and respond to each other in NCIS. Thanks for a great vid that highlights the strong relationship between these 2.
Thanks. Yeah, that's one of my favorite Gibbs/Tony moments. It shows just how much they mean to one another, without saying one word. That's something that these guys do so well, and the reason that the Tony/Gibbs relationship is the best one of NCIS.
I so love the scene when Tony is in jail and Gibbs hits him on the back of the head to reassure him and then chucks him under the chin - so cute! Awesome vid!
My favorite moments are 0:40 and 1:32. In the first one, you can see Tony struggling to make a choice. He knows Gibbs would want him to save the girl, she was Kelly's best friend, but he just can't loose Gibbs. The second one is just pure badassery. All he says is "Did you know my boss is a sniper?" and BANG no more bad guy.

No, it's just a strong bond between them two, Gibbs is more of a father to Tony than Tony's real father Senior. Gibbs loves Tony as a son and treats him as one if you really pay attention, he hates how Tony's father treats Tony. Gibbs fills that void in Tony's life. Gibbs has also is a father figure to Abby as her parents are dead and Ziva as her parents are also dead, Her dad dies in this season (10)
Tony had been following a suspect in 'Missing,' when he was drugged. He called Gibbs and Kate, who came to the scene and found only his car and cell, so Gibbs tagged it as evidence, I suppose.
