The owners of these horses were brave to admit the horses needed to go to someone else! All have gorgeous coloring. They will be beautiful.
I always say there are 3 things in life that are the hardest to say , 1 I need help 2. I’m genuinely sorry . 3 I love you . Asking for help can be embarrassing, lowers moral. Can make people feel inadequate so well done to those that asked for help and thank you to you for providing that help x
The man did the right thing in letting them go. They are some beautiful horses. God bless you both for taking them into care for them.
No, you said you bought these horses. I personally am an appy lover ❤ I'm glad you could help that guy out. We never want to admit that we need help.
I too love Apps, my dad bought me my first I was 9 and she was 6 weeks, bought the mare also, I was a kid in heaven. Love the blankets on these beauties.
Hey Alan and Vicki, you definitely have a huge❤.
These horses have the potential to he beautiful 😍!
Thank you , Alan🤗.
JO JO IN VT 💞
This is my first time here and it is a gift from God. I'll have to write about my first app and then my second I've got to tell the story that I can't now I'm busy but I want to keep up with this I want to follow y'all and get look at the picture of the blanket on this rump oh my gosh this beautiful
Actually he bought Hambre and Luna. The others were from a friend/owner that called and ask him if he could take them.
It does take humility to ask for help, so I applaud the owner for that at least.
I love everyone of these baby’s. I’m in Ga, I would love to give one a happy home. I have Epilepsy and MS. I won’t be able to ride but, I’ve had horses most of my life and can do ground work, manners, desensitize them ect. I’m sitting on 100 acres, im sure I can find somewhere. I have 2 pastures fenced already. Of course, I need to talk to my husband first.
The man did the right thing and he was lucky that you were willing and able to help. How do we know how long it took him to find someone (you) to help?! People judge without knowing anything.😢
The Appies are beautiful. The one mare Obviously the poor grey mare was probably not in good shape when she got pregnant. Then she gave everything to the foal. She needs some supplements. The rest of them need a few months of TLC.
I agree, the big buckskin gelding might make a roping horse. He would also make a good trail horse. Not any of them seem wild or mean. Given food and attention, training they could make a good family horse.
❤❤❤
Making the decision to find new homes for your horse is hard , finding a new home that is safe is very hard.
Luna suits her... Thanks for caring about the others.
I won't judge anyone over this situation. Thank you for rescuing them. They are really beautiful horses.
Thank you for rescuing these horses ! I hope, people will adopt them by the pair, brother/sister, mares/foals!!
I hope you keep the mammas and babies around so we can watch they're transformations.
there is another RUclipsr whose channel is called The Clever Cowgirl who goes to auctions and buys horses which would otherwise be sent to Canada to be slaughtered. She re-habs and trains them and then finds them good homes. She's extremely committed to her horses and picky about where they go. If you go to her channel, you could ask her if she might want one of these horses.
I think geographically they're quite far from eachother. Arizona to Montana is like day of driving I think.
You're a God loving family. Thanks for saving these animals
Thank you for rescuing these horses and helping out the owners. It had to be hard for them to let go of these beautiful horses, but they did the right thing! God bless you and them.
Love to see these mares and their foals turned out on green grass! There is no better medicine than green grass to help these mares produce the milk they need for these babies. Also, grass is amazing for putting on weight and helping with a digestive system that has been put through starvation, helps grow the needed probiotics that wiill keep the gut moving along, and hopefully keep them from colicing! God bless you, Allan! Your amazing! ❤......😊
Beautiful horses.
They will bounce back.
They already look better from your first video. That herd is so lucky to be in your care.
Misty would be a nice name for the grey mare since she's a misty grey color.
Thank you for helping these horses.
Thank you for taking the 7 on! Your heart is so kind! God bless you and Vicky!🙏❤
Isn't it 9 with hambre and Luna? Either way, he has his hands full... Glad they're out to pasture ..
So very happy you and your wife were able to give them the taste of heaven with plenty to eat and drink... Beautiful horses and foals. The dark Appy is stunning. You have a heart of gold sir ✨🌞 Blessings
The foal is so sweet. They will all be beautiful when you fill out. Yall have got such good hearts 💕
A lovely baby!😊
They are beautiful!
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO FOR HORSES!!
I can't wait to see them gain back their weight & health! They all are young & have that going for them so they will recover in no time at all!
Time, training, food, supplements & LOVE!
THAT'S WHAT THEY NEED FROM THEIR FOREVER HOMES!!!!💜
Ohhh poor darlings......you and the beautiful lady will look after them and fatten them up a bit..... Thank you for rescuing them darling boy.......blessings darlings from Granny Linda in OZ
You are amazing at rescuing these beautiful horses. Thank you for all you do for them all❤
They are so beautiful. Like you said, need som care and food. It’s obvious the two mamas were giving their nutrition to their babies. Thank you for helping them.
I would love to name one Starshine. I like that name. Thank you for saving them. 🐎💖💙💛
My favorite is the roan appy momma. She is thin but a looker. They are all beautiful.
Step in at the right time. Thank you for saving this horses. They looking all very thin! Specially the mares with the foales! My deep respect from germany. Hope, you find good homes for them when the time is coming.
Good move for mares. They can get used to the area in daylight & the sounds. Safer to see fencing too.
Hope they all find new homes quickly for training & better health
It is hard to ask for help and let people know you failed, but this person was a Hero for asking for help and you Sir are a Hero for stepping up to the plate. From An old farmgirl❤
YOU are such a wonderful man to take on these beautiful horses. I know you will care for them and find them good homes.Thank you for all you do
Hay there from Florida,
I just started watching your story; I am incredibly moved by your generous heart. I grew up riding in the 6o’s.
I had a fabulous gelding cutting horse- a roan spotted Appaloosa (Sky Eagle) with whom I competed in Reining and Western Pleasure and my wildly capable mentor and trainer, Jane Wiggins, competed in cutting events. She was the only woman doing that at the time. Fortunately many of my friends in Ocala and Wellington were able to secure their horses from the hurricanes at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center on higher ground than our sea level flood zones. God Sent because horses helped us win wars and provided transportation and most remarkably, beauty, honesty, nobility and love.
All the Best from Suzi Berg
Thanks so much
Congrats on over 80 thousand subs now! what you're doing is Awesome!
Thank you for being such a sweet man.
That’s a rat tail some appys have them. I love the young buckskin filly! Thanks for saving them.
They are and will be gorgeous!!!! Thank you a lot for all your caring!!!
It seemed like the horses that were already in the pasture came to welcome the newcomers and lead them into heaven. It was so sad, the rescues kept pacing and moving like they had given up hope and were just trying to find a place to finally rest; now they have that place.
They are absolutely gorgeous! Can you put a large bale of hay in there Alan? They are in need of lots of groceries as you say! 😊
Thank goodness he called you! They’re beautiful! The buckskin gelding and his sister I rate as a 2 moderate in condition score, and the two I’d rate 1 poor. They’re so fortunate to be with you now whew! I’ll check out your Amazon wish list.
The Roan mare with the Appaloosa Colt will be soooo beautiful when she gets on more weight and the proper care she needs! I'd adopt her but I'm not able to sadly bc I'm not even located in America lol
Good that you could save these horses. They will be very beautiful horses again.
Good job! You will be blessed for helping the guy out with his horses needing help. It's not easy to ask for help.
The Appy colt makes me smile every time you show him😊😊😊😊🥰
I bet the poor appy mare with the blanketed foal is also the mom of the bay with blanket.
Can't get over how beautiful that big blue sky is!
Hi, i'm from belgium, I just found your channel when you rescued ambre and Luna. on the video you asked for a name for the white horse, i thought immediatly of the name Luna, and i posted in my my first comment on your channel. i find the name perfect for htis horse
I love this grey horse with the black head..she is so beautiful ❤❤❤
They're going to need a lot of groceries. I hope you haven't overstretched yourself. Very happy they've found you
Oh, they are beautiful. I am thankful to the owner for realizing his stress. Thank YOU for stepping up❤
The black and white baby is so cute!
Blessings to you and your family for taking in these lovely horses. I’m praying for your new friend, that great blessings come his way. Oh I wish I had land, I’d buy one of these beautiful horses from y’all. You have to find them all great forever homes, or you will have to come up with 7 new names! 😆
Thank you for helping these horses and the man that contacted you. I commend him for reaching out. Looks like maybe he held on too long hoping things would turn around. Bless him for not dumping them in a kill pen. ❤ A prayer for him also to find as little peace and a little piece of heaven ,
Thank you and blessings for you for all that you do.
81.6 k subs congratulations 🎉❤
Thank you so much 😀
Even considering their condition, they are beautiful overall. Those buckskin are stunning. Thankful to the previous owners and y'all for giving the horses a chance to get healthy and into a home where their needs can be met.
Alan and Farm on Route 66 well done getting to 81K on You Tube. Alan what is the Diamater of your Round Pen? I really like the Bigger Buckskin. Alan you do have a big heart for the Rescue horses.
It touched my heart when your wife said she gets to spend some time with you. ❤Blessings to you all.
It made my heart sing to see them let in to that lush green field. ❤
Hi Alan. I think it is wonderful that you are able to help out folks who are having a hard time. 💖💖💖
Wonderful to watch these horses in their new home. Name of music please. Gods timing to rehome. God bless you.
He was probably hoping that he would find a new job and that he wouldn't have to part with his baby's. It's so hard to make the decision to give up your animal's. I'm so glad that he choose the right thing for them.
You shouldn't have any problem finding homes for them, their all so beautiful. ❤❤😊
Hi from the Netherlands. You are a special person.
Hi from the Netherlands too. I totally agree you and your family are good an example for me and many, many more people.
Thank You for saving these beautiful horses. You are a good man. ❤
yes, I'm a Luna/Hombre fan! I'm in Waterbury CT, and if there are any horses here, I haven't seen them, so they're on the outskirts of this city. Thanks for the great work and your big heart. Great shots of the horses! You can say that you saved them --- you did!
I’m am so looking forward to watching the progress of this new herd, Ombré, and Luna.
hey there, tuning in from New Zealand. Love your videos and think your so special.
ALL SO PRETTY! Each one. Thank you for helping them out! I heard that in AZ ppl are leaving their horses in the desert near the airport
to fend for themselves in the heat, no water, no food..even a colt in a ditch! Children saw him and ran home to tell everyone..He did not
make it they had to pts it says. Not sure Why AZ doesn't help these horses and ppl out - Like YOU do! They could if they cared...
You have such a good heart. Vicki is a wonderful wife. There is a special place in heaven for you two. Rescuing these 7 was truly an act of kindness. Also it was probably hard for their owner to give them up. He was looking out for them. Thank you. I always enjoy your posts. 😊
Hi there!
I’m watching and joining your video - from SWEDEN.
I really like what I see and hear👍💛Great job🌟🌟🌟
They look so content now ❤😊
Loved the way for a few minutes they all stood in a line , thank you for sharing Mary Lou from Tennessee ⚓️💕
I love the way they line themselves up with heads all in the same direction, staggered. That’s cool. Do you think in time they will relax, realize they are safe and will get food and water, and not stay clumped so closely together?
They spread out all the time they just like to hang out when they’re taking a break and they wanted to come watch this video
I wish I could come and get these horses all gentled for you!! I would love to do that!!❤
They have beautiful colors and much potential! Thank you for saving them! I wish I could have a horse.
You do a good job , like watching your show. 😊I pray to God to help you and to keep your family in good health
That rat tail appy has interesting markings. I would be interested to see her all filled out. Glad you took them in.
I enjoy watching your episodes. I think I found you about a month ago from Farmer Tyler Ranch. He mentioned you in one of his episodes So I plugged in and boy am I glad I did.
Thank you very much for your wonderful channel.❤
The man you bought these horses certainly had a good eye for horse colors. They are pleasant on the eye.
Are any of the 7 registered? Not that it matters unless you have a breeding program. They all look pretty typical quarterhorse type. Fairly athletic builds, able to stride out the way their shoulders are in front of the withers. Good hindquarters, maybe not physically built for a deep slide stop but can stop adequately. A good handle and they will do anything well. 💕💕Thanks for being able to at least give them a chance to fulfill their potential. Even a trail horse needs a good handle❣️. If you know breeding background it may encourage people to take them due to the potential of AQHA breeds. Too bad we are so far away might pick one or two for projects.
Love the baby Appaloosa!! So pretty!!
It's hard to let your animals go. My sister had two horses and every time she got laid off work we would hit abandoned fields with a scythe, usually gathering up oat hay that grew wild. She finally sold them, and she learned it's real hard to sell horses.
Wow, those are all so beautiful there’s couple of bricks specially, beautiful. We have enough rescues right now, and we are not it not-for-profit rescue. We are not a for-profit rescue. We just take in animals that we have room for, and occasionally rehome them but right now we have six horses of our own and one foster horse. Otherwise I would love to help you out the most. I can do at this point though it’s just keep you all in my prayers.
Those appys will be gorgeous once back healthy. Thank you, Vicki & Alan and family @TheFarmonRoute66
I know how hard this is I've been there, you been called to do this because their God's creatures. I would still be doing rescue but a few years ago my life path has changed. I miss having horses around me so much.
My ❤ fell in love with the appaloosa with the blaze down it's face.
What a beautiful little herd of horses. Thank you for helping that guy and rescuing these horses.
Timesless beautiful vista of horses being happy.
Pretty horses. The guy was desperate and you helped him and the horses
Hi from Germany. Thank you for rescue this horses
Thank you too!
Autumn on its way here in England. Winter going to be great keeping up with Luna and ombre and these youngsters. The two foals are gorgeous. I know u will find the right homes for them. The blanket spot is my fave.
Once again Route 66 Farm you are so special. God bless you for everything you do for these horses. I love your family and the things you do for these horses that are in such need for dire help. God will bless you for your compassion for all the animals you rescue. I so love watching your videos. Your family is so blessed. Thank you for all your hard work bringing us your videos. I so love them. True forever fan from KC Mo USA.
Man I would love that mom and lil app baby!! I would get them if I had a way to get them home most definitely
These horses were worth rescuing. Good job filmim
Ng them. I like the choice of music
Lots of possibilities for this group …they’ll be surprising once the weight goes on. The appy mare I think may be a diamond in the rough as those babies are certainly nice…figuring the bay filly is hers last year.
😊❤ Hi 😅 Thank you for purchasing this little herd of horses! 😊❤ They are all gorgeous!! I'm sure that you will find them all perfect homes!! Even the 2 thin mares with foals will transform beautifully with time and food!! 😇😊❤❤
Love The Babies
