Had my bike slip on a mat on my garage coming in a little to hot which threw the rear end out and had me almost whisky throttle into the living room. Thank goodness for pulling the clutch. I broke the fall with my body and didn't damage the bike...just me. It was fun.
"I dropped my bike in the garage".. what had happened was.. he opened the garage and saw a brand new litter of puppies being attacked by 12 ninjas. He jumped off the bike doing a double backflip, narrowly avoiding the katanas, threw 12 death stars with his left hand, killing all the ninjas. Satan appeared while he's still in the air and he says, "not today satan" finding in the super hero pose, catching his bike just as the clutch levrr hit the floor, saving it so there was almost no damage. Cause no one is perfect.
No he dropped the bike, the 12 ninjas crossed the street when they realized a 120lb rottweiler lived there. Lol I did laugh when I read it, pretty funny.
you are correct. my buddy bought a NEW '23 road glide. we rode to a neighboring dealership where he promptly dropped it. lucky, no damage. i was backing my SG out of the garage, the kickstand caught the lip of the concrete which kicked up the kickstand and i did not realize it and i dropped mine. i am the firmest believer in engine guards and bag guards so i did not have damage either. he since installed bag guards.
Yep dropped a bike, had a bike drop on me, broken clutch levers, brake levers and mirrors and fairing. I know I'm a clumsy bastard. LOL ,as they say shit happens.
I may have or may have not dropped my Ultra Classic (with the wife on the back)right out front of the Beaver Bar in sturgis last year...only thing hurt was my pride, stuff happens man!
Dropped a RK right outside the dealership when I went to trade it in I never picked a bike up that fast in my life now I look to make sure everything is aligned with the stand before letting the bike down
I will be there Sunday getting my handlebars put on by all about custom. I’ll be looking for you. 1 o’clock appointment. Leaving Michigan on Wednesday heading down.
Dropped your bike! WOW! I'm glad I've never done anything that foolish! At least not on camera or whenever anyone else was around that is!😂 Glad to see the damage was minimal!
I dropped my New Ultra along the Railroad Tracks. I was more afraid of what my wife was going to do to me than the damage done to the Bike 😅 Thank God there was only a tiny scratch on the bottom of the Hard Bag
It happens. We have all dropped our bikes at least once. I have dropped all of my bikes at least once. Fortunately they were all in similar situations to yours and no damage to the bikes.
Dropped mine off of my HF lift a few years back. Was about 2ft up when the bike shifted, not sure why, and came towards me. Knew I could not stop it so just let it hit my garage floor. Damaged the front brake lever and not much else. Got it up. Got rid of that lift. And fixed what was broken. S$&t Happens.
I have never dropped my bike, oh wait! Except for the time at the Buffalo chip turning on a hill, and when I bought it in the guy’s front yard with the old lady on the back, but just those two times I think! Lol great vid!
I use a "C" clanp to reset. To lazy to bleed brakes! Thank you for being a normal guy. Sorry you dropped it but... Is Jasman Caane going to be at Sturgis this year? Enjoyed her at Kickstands last year.
I’ll be there Sunday getting amps and speakers in my new Ultra Limited. It will have a grand total of about 50 miles on it so the techs should be happy with that since it will be nice and clean. I would be there doing bars on my 19 Ultra, but a deer decided to total that bike and change my plans ha.
Food for thought, If the bike has any miles on it. The best way to do it with out c ontaminating the master withe fluid from the caliper. Is when you have it apart. With pressure on the piston crack open the bleeder till the piston bottoms out. Keep pressure on it and open the bleeder. Put a rag down because fluid will squirt out , then quickly close it with out letting presuure off the piston. If you do it rite you wont have to bleed the brakes. Just work the brake a couple times and top off systum. No bleeding nessary. Wala done. Reassemble with pads in the rite way. Big side fwd. The "spring goes in with the rounded side twards the bracket Love ya big dog. Much respect. 👍✌️🤘🤘☠️ hey, i dropped mine sitting on the dam thing lol !
I dropped my bike last year trying it load it in my toy hauler for the first time because I tried to pussyfoot around getting up the ramp. Lesson learned. Hit ramp and go for it.
100% agree, if you ever say you never dropped you are lying, i have dropped every bike i owned except the one i am ridding now, all of my drops have been slow speed parking lot drops, very embarrassing none the less, btw love your video Mr. Monkey
I have a question about videos you produced in the past. I’m considering a Fueling Vented dipstick or a Trask Trans cover for my 2021 TriGlide Ultra. Did you find one works better than the other? Which one would you recommend? Thanks.
I’ve never dropped a bike. Granted I’ve only been riding road bikes for a week and a half. I’ve nearly dropped it like five times and about threw my back out catching it from falling in the ihop parking lot the other day with two employees on break watching. So yeah, I’ve never dropped a bike.

@ProfessionalMonkey Mrs told me about it. She knew you'd be to modest to tell the true story.

I've always managed to drop mine in front of people, glad to hear there was minimal damage.

I put floating rotors and pads front and rear on my ultra, went ebc as well, love them

ROFL! Cheers Monkey! Thank you for the laugh. I am very happy that everything is all good and mostly uninjured. Have a great time in Daytona.
lol… that happened to me … new clutch and break levers on its way …. lol… check brake fluid if tires weren’t change most likely brake fluid wasn’t..
It happens and if you haven’t yet, wait. 😂 glad you’re ok.

For the last time, I didn't drop it, it fell over while I was getting off.
Loving that Xbones.
That’s ok I dropped mine going 5k over a white painted line with gravel on it put my leg down to save it and broke my leg (good fun 🤣

If you NEVER dropped a bike… YOU DONT RIDE ENOUGH!!! Own it n laugh bout it lmao🤙🏼
Looking at all the fine rides you have, Monk, I agree with you liking the crossbones. Comes in 1st for me, above the red flame.
Dropped mine at sturgis as I slipped on gravel. Dropped it here in a parking lot 😅. It happens lol

At Fairing Exchange?
@@ProfessionalMonkey Yes sir! They did my 19 Ultra last year. 800 watt package. Thing rocked. Need to dump the Harley sound junk pronto.
Glad there was no road rash, which has got to be 6 or 12 times more painful that, just breaking a bone.
I'm considering replacing the front forks with Springer Frontend on my 2011 Sportster Nightster 1200
That would be slick. May as well hardtail it also!!!
@@ProfessionalMonkey I am convinced that the stock rear shocks are close enough for hard tailing... 😂
120lb fur missile WMD named Harley!!!!

Do me a favor and check the torque of the handle bar risers ;)
Should right?
yup Daytona is coming up .
In order to stay alive. I stopped doing cool shit however dumb shit still happens from time to time
From time to time!!! 😂
I dropped mine because I got exited to grab a cold beer my brother in law had for me
That’s as good a reason as any 🤷🏽♀️
Easy to put a screwdriver between the pads before they’re out and pry them apart ,pushes the calipers right in.
With all the stuff you have a no lift!
Man, sucks when gravity happens. At least clutch levers are easily acquired. See ya
I HATE gravity!
Break time , replacing outer primary gasket.
I love those pipes
Paughco! Old school cool shit.
Stupid question but why didn't you have them put new brake pads on while they had the wheel and tire off to change the rear tire?
Because I do everything myself that I can. That and it probably saved me at least $100 in labor right?

Great. Thanks.
What did the misses say about you dropping her bike
She was worried I’d hurt myself (while she was inspecting it for damage)
@@ProfessionalMonkey the bikes come first

Noooooo, we've ALL dropped our bike. Ask me how I know 😂

Not being a smart-ass but EBC brakes are British not American. I use them myself when I can get them
