Turn back the clock for both the parents! If Allyson dies who will replace her awesomeness?! and she can't live without her soulmate. Also I reckon you should build an extra bathroom on Michael's/gym floor. Quicker showering after exercising and takes away some of the congestion of the other bathrooms :)
Get her the youth potion! Just once. Then let her age gracefully. I know there are a lot of Sims in this household, which makes it difficult to manage them all; but I'd like to see more progression on the computer geek child as well (name escapes me at the moment).
I think you should use the fountain of youth on Allison but give the visionary to Megan for her writing. Just because Allison already seems to learn skills really quickly...just a thought lol

i bought this game bc i had been waiting for 2 years for it. and when i installed it i found out that my lap top is too old for it. now i just have it sitting around my house ;-; glad you enjoy the game though ^.^
Also SCOTT... I found it 'Funny' that Allison was at the Gym. She is ACHING for some young stud. Let her have her affair then the divorce. She will get that beautiful house and Her Hubby can run and cry under his bed. His new bed in the flea bitten part of town.... LOL

Maybe instead of using the potion of youth, if you go into the game settings, you can make it so their life span is a lot longer. Your setting seems to be "short". However, since you're so very close to the elder stage, I don't know if changing the settings at this point will make much of a difference. You should still try it though. :)
I've never been a fan of de-aging my Sims personally. Usually I just leave my Sim and their spouse to live out the rest of their days once they become elders and switch my focus to their children

You should make the top floor a recreational area, with chess, exercise stuff, TVs, a dance floor, all that stuff. It would be really cool.
