    if we increase the size of the electrode, will the current increase? Just on the basis that surface area increases n of reactions

      yes. i.e Rate of reaction will increase therefore current increases because the same amount of electrons are transferred to copper in less time.
      Think about equation ( I = q/t ) where I and q are constant. :)
