It was a very, very very delayed birthday present, my birthday is actually nowhere near Halloween! I don’t celebrate Christmas, so I make Halloween my Christmas, which is why it’s my favorite holiday!
You do need a wristband in order to use all pool facilities, which is reserved for guests staying at the hotel. You can visit and dine at the restaurants, but all facilities are reserved for hotel guests. You might’ve stumped me on the driving question - maybe you could Uber? Not quite sure where you are coming from.
Just FYI, it's called "shave ice", not shaved ice. Also, their shave ice is insane? You really need to get out, explore the island and try some real, legit shave ice...
Most places I have been to call it “shaved ice,” as does the definition of the food on Wikipedia. Unfortunately, for this trip, we were only on the island for a couple days, but I have been to Hawaii a couple times and, on every trip I take to any location, I make it a point to try as much of the local cuisine as possible and explore the location beyond the resort.
Watching your Disney vlog was an enchanting experience. The excitement and joy were infectious. I am a new fan now.
Thanks for watching!
Belated Happy Birthday Jake! Now I know why Halloween is your favourite holiday! 👍
