A lot guys asking witch one is best build for now answer is really easy whatever u want and feels right is best if u know how items working we cant say witch one is best build we are shaco mains we can build everything just usually build:profane,bork, grudge. but when you have heavy cc enemys(cc counter us so badly) u cant be usefull with this core so u need to change build for example im using trinity,eclipse sunderer sky or sterak and other situational items that helps u to survive for example,maw of malmortius death dance for counter lethality if u want to counter adc on hit dmg build frozen heart we have so many options just dont build same builds if u want to be usefull thats why chase building other items.

Yeah he said it was bad or bait in his build video. Not sure why he decided on it now, because it's still bad. Shaco can't proc it in more than once in a fight like zed can.
i figured at a glance its good for early game because its flat 100 damage, so you could get it first and be greedy, but it falls off. shaco is already good early anyway so you should build for lategame i feel.
I feel like it's an okay item especially if ahead. Every game is different when it comes to itemizing if they have no armor voltaic isn't so bad.
He was probably just testing stuff out, and then this game happened to be good for RUclips, so he uploaded it. Just follow his guide, don't follow random gameplay videos.

2nd: Boots ( your preferred boots ) .
3rd: Eclipse
4th: Voltaic
5th: Collector, Lord dominik's, or Mortal Reminder
6th: Seryldas ( if you go collector ), Edge of Night or Opportunity ( If you go Lord dominik's or Mortal Reminder ).

Whats the point on voltaic as 4th item? Lost all it´s DMG powerspike by that point. And the slow is unecessary in most cases since they A: either flash / mobility away anyways or they don´t have anything to escape anyways and B: You allready have a decent slow.
So besides beeing extremly niche for specific things i don´t see that. Genuinely interested in the thought process
