The cops were supposed to be a lot smarter, and Liam added a feature so they actually stopped ramming each other but it caused MASSIVE lag and was removed.
Just thought I'd mention this but this video is all over the game's discord so clearly you did something right. :)
Of course they have spike strips, but in high levels. And as well some units has an special pushbar, and has something yellow that pop one of your tires, I don't know what is it...
The yellow thing is called police grappler

its a grappler essentially just a yellow rope attached to a retractable push bar that is supposed to latch onto the suspect's tire and bring him to a stop, but to balance it the thing just pops the tire

Less units appear in vehicle pursuits than shootouts.
It would be nice if you could get enough money and a high enough level for an AK47 and test out police combat. Low star units don’t have any special things for combat, but higher star units will start utilizing things like flashbangs, tear gas, rappeling from helicopters, and more to come eventually.
Tips: Staying in the safehouse during shootouts can help new players survive longer
Don’t reload until your mag is empty because each reload eats a mag worth of bullets except for shotgun reloads

I played yesterday and I played for so long that I reached level 14 in 1 day. Addicting game, They never pitted me though. NYSP and the bearcat are way more aggressive as they almost pitted me but it wasn't really a pit, they just hit the side of my car as I was going forward and they were coming from the left

They took ERLC buildings,
Making a realistic building that has the same general design as some random ER:LC buildings = copying
The houses buildings and bank are completely different from ERLC
game is to laggy to play
Try a private server if that doesn’t help blame the fact that it’s hard to optimize an AI game where scripts run every second.
They copied ERLC
They didn’t copy the design if real life used that same design before ER:LC
