Friends! I apologize to everyone who was confused by the delay and re-release of the video. But I, as they say in Russia, "stepped on the same rake" and again added a fake piece by Mozart. However, I quickly realized this myself, so before most viewers have watched it, I decided to redo everything. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. Have a nice viewing and a good result!
Mozart wrote plenty of “fake music”, for example: ‘Einer musikalische Spaß’ (K. 522), ‘Bona nox’ (K. 561), ‘Leck mich im Arsch’ (K. 231). And many people believe ‘Pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-Papagena’ and ‘Der hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen’ from ‘die Zauberflöte’ can’t possibly be real music. 😂
10/15 today. Missed on Haydn, Mozart _and_ Mendelssohn, with regrets. The Saint-Saëns was easy because none of the others knew harp writing. Fascinating Holst as usual!
13/15 for me. My best score on one of these for a long time! Although I have to admit to quite a few lucky guesses based on the style of the piece . . . 😄 Thanks Dmitri! 👍👍👍👍👍
13 of 15. Mainly thanks to composers "musical signatures". I agree about Shostakovich's 10th to be used for a movie thriller soundtrack. But frankly, even the Prokofiev piece could work for that. I love these quizzes. I generally reliszten to the pieces you choose. Thanks Dmitri.
Knowing Shostakovich's symphonies, you would never confuse him for Prokofiev. Though they both have that musical melody dissonance at times. So I understand what you mean.
I think it would be nice to hear the prelude from the Gadfly suite or PC2 movt.2, these are my favourite things. It's a misconception that Shost is always dissonant. Neither is Serguei. The are different though.

12/15. The Holst and Saint-Saens works are new to me but I will definitely investigate further, so thanks! I learn so much from your channel.

Thanks for another fun quiz. I scored 10/15.
10/15. A couple of times I switched from the correct answer at the last moment. Sad. But it was fun!
10/15! Fun, as always!
8/15. Thanks Dmitrii.
9 right! w00t...wait , do people still say that?
13/15 almost tricked up by Haydn. I really need to spend more time with Prokofiev.
There is no one like Sergei! :)

Thank you for your review and your regular comments. I'm glad you like the choice of pieces, although some of them may have appeared in other series.
11/15 this time
11/15 it was okay for medium, I think. Tricky, but good.
My problem is always Haydn vs Mozart, they sound so similar.
When Mozart starts to sound like Beethoven, you can bet it’s Haydn! 😅
@@noelleggett5368 Well said!
13/15. Got Q3 and Q11 wrong, otherwise fairly easy to select correct composer.
10/15, one of my best results.
Congratulations. The result is truly wonderful!
8/15, I did my best but it's stil hard to make the difference beetween Sergueï and Dmitri.
Shostakovich often sounds like Prokofiev, but Prokofiev almost never sounds like Shostakovich. (I doubt that helps.) ☺️
