    Beautiful!!! Seemingly so simple but profound. Long notes are what musicians talk about, but how many do them? I was reminded of the old Klose Method where he recommended one hour of long notes in your four hour practice! It doesn't have to be literally that amount of practice but should we warm up with them or have separate short concentrated sessions ? Remember less is more. Don't start a regime unless you mean to carry it out. ! If we all carried out Joe's wise advise we'd probably be all better musicians and players. Thank you Joe, for leaving us this. Bill. UK
