y'all did HISTORY🥺thank you🙏🏽 Yi-jeong being in underwear was so crazy back then lol but look at him now he goes by EL CAPITXN a producer in HYBE, working on some of the biggest records. Definitely check out Queen and Psycho.
I was sad when they disbanded, I was just getting into them when it happened but this is the first time I’ve actually seen the mv for this song, I always watched the dance practice.
I was really sad when HISTORY disbanded. Queen, Psycho, and Might Just Die are some of my favorite KPOP songs of all time. I really appreciate the effort they put into "Might Just Die" since they all really struggled with a part of the choreography and got injured trying to do it.
Wow, first! I knew the group, but not this particular song and video, thanks for your reaction. I'm from Germany, so I found this kind of amusing as well, but for different reasons than you did. It reminded me how many musicians went to Berlin in search of artistic inspiration and to acquire an edgy, darker, avant-garde image, and that usually involved clubbing, drugs etc (eg David Bowie or Depeche Mode). So in this video you have that with the drama scenes, but in the performance scenes you still have this Korean "pretty boy" idol group with a pop sound and funky choreography! It's all over the place, but kind of adorable and fascinating nonetheless. Firstly, I often wonder in K-Pop how much is unintentionally funny, because they draw on such diverse stuff at the same time, or how far it is knowingly ironic? Secondly, would love it if you would try to explain your reactions more (not just for this video, but in general!), eg why you find the "for real" so funny? I'm guessing it's also because the "street credibility" that seems to be aimed for here doesn't quite work for you either, but I don't know why with this particular detail on the background of American music culture.
@ The Report Card Reactions, HISTORY they were kind of like 2nd/3rd generation I wouldn’t call them exactly 2nd generation K-pop but they definitely had some difficult times because when they all went into mandatory military service and when they came back it wasn’t the same they disbanded I think it was 2017 when they disbanded it was kind of difficult for them but they did have some catchy songs you just picked not one of my favorite, May I suggest you do “QUEEN” MV by HISTORY for one of your throwback Thursdays in Kpop!?
