However, "spot" suggests an imperfection or corrpution as Shakesperare intends to convey the feeling that Lady Macbeth's soul has been tainted by going against the divine right of kings, leading to her madness and guilt.

lady macbeth couldnt handle the guilt like macbeth could, perhaps because she is a woman in a patriarchal society. simple idea that you could mention for context in paragraph 3
