I am not remotely Catholic, but I still found the skit EXTREMELY distasteful and insulting. The message was basically that believers are overly excited wackos obsessed with their armpit odor; useful only as the butt of jokes.
I have been observing the American political scene for many decades, and have read extensively of its history from the beginning. This is unprecedented. The only thing that might come close would be the ill-starred James Blaine campaign that termed the Democrat Party the Party of "rum, Romanism and rebellion." Of course, the Blaine campaign was serious and the Harris campaign is not, but that lack of seriousness is part of the problem.
I tried googling "presidential candidates insulting Catholics" to see what insults had, for example, been hurled at Al Smith in this day, but I got only hits attacking Pres. Trump for HIS supposed "insults" and "profanity."
Got family or friends in PA, GA, MI, AZ, NC, OH, WI???? IT IS YOUR *DUTY* TO CALL, TEXT, EMAIL EVERYONE AND GET THEM OUT TO VOTE TRUMP, IMMEDIATELY 🇺🇸🗽 DO IT FOR DIAMOND AND SILK, NOW!!!!!!!
