  • Advocates have welcomed changes to childcare that would be implemented under a re-elected Labor government.
    Anthony Albanese is pledging $1 billion to build more than 160 early education centres in underserved areas and to scrap the activity test, meaning parents can access subsidised care three days a week, no matter how many hours they work, volunteer or study.
