My son spent 4 years in Honolulu for the Army. Hickam beach was a favourite for his then 3-year-old. Plenty of F-22 action in between sand castle building.

F22 pilots looking behind them at the future. Southwest pilot looking ahead at the past.
Fascinating to watch 18's hit V1, VR, & V2 over such a short distance. It looks effortless (though I'd bet it doesn't FEEL effortless in the cockpit). Glad I'm not paying the fuel bills. Oh... wait... 😂
Been funny if when they cleared SW for take off if they would of asked them if they could go ahead and climb at same rate as the F-22's lol Always cool to see military aircraft landing or taking off in front of you.
Reminds me of a story I heard long ago about ATC requesting an SR-71 to "Say heading."
The response was: "Up."
All the way up! You know where to find me!
🤣🤣👍 Excellent response.
lol
That’s classic!!!
Southwest pilot feels like a bus driver watching two Ferraris go by.
@@skysurfer9655 Those 22s would be equivalent to F1s.
@@skysurfer9655 or, the Southwest pilot was going down memory lane to his days of flying fighters
Especially if he has previous military pilot experience. 👍🏻
Theoretically, that was a bus!
A lot of the bus drivers were once Ferrari drivers.
The departure procedure that these Hawaii ANG pilots are using is called the 'Hang Ten Departure'! Pretty fun job? Unrestricted climb to 10,000 feet.
Southwest pilot should have asked tower for an unrestricted takeoff too 😂

That sound from the Raptor's twin turbines gives me chills every time.
Thank You, Great to Watch !
Glad you enjoyed it!
Incredible these vapour clouds. Stunning view!
Agreed!
AKA: 737 Max tries his best to do a military take off!
737 captain: "Dear passengers, We are about to take off. Please fasten your seat belts and hold on tight" 🤣🤣🤣
Poor Navy guys, he tried to
Don’t you mean a nose down?
He should have ask for unrestricted climb to 41,000
Last Wednesday we had a couple hours of reverse opps.
Caught it once a few Saturdays ago but now I keep missing it.
Always fun Dept-Arrv @ Daniel Inouye. You get a mixture of USAF toys puttin around.
lol saw you planespotting at lagoon drive the other day, footage looks amazing!
Thanks 🤙
ATC: Groundspeed zero??? Climbing....

Awesome! 👏
Watch two F22s take off knowing you're in a flip jet and praying it's got the latest firmware update......
Aim High Brotha!!
Great capture. F22s start their take off like a GA plane then switch to rocket launch mode :)
Thanks 🤙

Those 2 F-22 are getting ready for the scramble on the 25th .😊
Keeping us safe!
Glad I found your channel. We went to Hawaii several years ago and I flew on the queen.
The queen is a great aircraft! Thanks for watching.
Saw some of these from Honolulu this week. A wider view would really show the action, similar to what I saw
There is not one location to see everything. I try to pick the best place for the action that day.
A light weight KC-135R can do that!🤪
Southwest should’ve requested unrestricted climb too.
The Southwest passengers would be really upset if he tried to emulate the F 22 rate of climb.
Tower; Southwest 1369 requesting unrestricted climb out
I wonder where the fighter pilot will be working when he’s done flying fighter jet? Southwest
No afterburners on a 737 😢
Meanwhile at the part 121 ranch.
Geronimo!

I can almost see the Southwest pilots nostrils flaring with adrenaline as he speaks. 🇺🇸🫡
