How to perform Independent Sample T-Test in SPSS- Urdu/Hindi

An independent sample t-test is a statistical procedure used to determine if there is a significant difference between the means of two independent groups. This test is commonly used in media research to compare the effectiveness of different advertising campaigns or to assess the impact of a new media platform on viewer engagement.
In this tutorial, we will first go over the steps to set up and run the t-test in SPSS. This will include selecting the appropriate data, defining the two groups, and choosing the correct statistical test.
Next, we will discuss how to interpret the results of the t-test. This will include understanding the p-value and determining if the difference between the means is statistically significant.
The basic requirements for conducting an independent sample t-test are:
The data must be normally distributed
The sample sizes should be approximately equal
The samples should be independent of each other
To interpret the results of an independent sample t-test, one must compare the calculated t-value to the critical t-value for the chosen significance level. If the calculated t-value is greater than the critical t-value, then it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the two samples. On the other hand, if the calculated t-value is less than the critical t-value, then it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between the two samples.
