Can someone please tell me what the little circuit board in is hand at 2:34 does? Looks like some kind've sound card that plugs into the mainboard by 2 wires (2:22) and also the little speaker. Mines slightly different has a blown module on it. I took the entire card out and turned the hoverboard on. Turns on and works except doesn't turn off. Hit the off button and get a singular beep. Help!
Hi, It is based on Bluetooth sound circuitry. When the problem arises, this circuit is failing and causes a breakdown in the power supply circuit section in Mainboard and you have to change two transistors TIP127 and two capacitors and then the Mainboard will work normally. Good Luke

Ok, Good Luck. and for Bluetooth, you can buy one cheap and simple Bluetooth speaker from Amason like 10$ and then open it and take out the board and speaker and disconnect the battery and then put it inside your Hoverboard. you can use the glue gun for that. and for power to give it to Bluetooth, as you know those Bluetooth speaker charging by a 5V power supply and if you have Multimeter you will find 5V at the connector of sensor boards and then connected it. I just changed 2 transistors TIP127 as my wasnt switch off ! and now it switches on and off. All working fine again. Order it from ebay by typing in "transistor TIP127". Thanks so much .
Hi my fault was no power or charge. Changed both 127s and now turns on and stays on, is it just the 2 capacitors in addition to the tip127s for this circuit please? I will test capacitors later. When I short the power button connector, it bleeps but stays on, as LED is flashing (7 times) however nothing else connected to motherboard connectors/plugs just bench power supply to battery connector
My brand new hoverboard run time is around 25 minutes then it cut off power of board. At full charge it was around 41.5 V and after 25 minutes the battery voltage was only 37.8 V for cut off. Why is the voltage still so high and already there was a cut off the power? At wat voltage should the board switch off? Any suggestions?c

Thanks for making this video . Today my hoverboard got same problem and I found exactly the same part faulty but not all there is pair of swithing pnp transistor one of shorted I replaced by new one and now it work perfectly fine.

Hi, Sorry for the late reply. Yeah, if the Hoverboard does not turn on, first disconnect the Bluetooth module if you have and check your power button and the battery, and then check those two transistors and in some cases those two capacitors as well.
I was wondering if anyone has found a simple way to diagnose an internal failure of the wheel motor? Maybe using a multimeter? Also an easy way to diagnose a failed motherboard with the symptom being wheel jerk? Now that I can see how to repair the issue in the video ( and confirmed my suspicion that it's related to the Bluetooth board) these are the last two issues that are really frustrating me! Thank you
Hello. for test the motor you can use multimeter (the ohms part of multimeter because it is the self ) but if it's failure it's so hard to fix it and open the wheel and open all wire and put it back I don't think worth it. and for test the motherboard if one of wheel doesn't work you can change the wheel with another side to see witch one have problem wheel or motherboard. and you can test the sensor board like that. I mean if one side sensor board doesn't work change it with other side and you can see where is the problem. ***Just be careful before do anything first unplug the battery (!!!*careful battery 36 V DC it is so danger*!!!) and then be careful to connect all the sockets properly to cause further damage*** Good Luke :)
Hi, First of all, All of the wheel motors is electromotors. So yeah you can use the multimeter for testing wheel motor because they are the coil and you can test them. And second of all, for mainboard no it's not an easy way. but if you find the datasheet of the mainboard. it is so helpful. because in datasheet you have the block diagram of all elements with all IO and all checkpoints. so it's helpful. And third, yes normally this problem it comes cause of Bluetooth. because Bluetooth board is crap and they made this problem with power supply part in the mainboard. so sometimes this is happening because of Bluetooth sometimes happening cause some problem in mainboard or battery or some else. Mabe the power button is defect or maybe battery sells or battery control bord is not solid connected, Or maybe mainboard has an issue with cold soldering or layer disconnection, Or software problem and etc. you have to check! You're gonna replace the transistor marked TIP 127. Its a PNP Darlington transistor. And you replace its complimentary transistor - a NPN Darlington. They work in pairs
Turns out it - on the hoverboard I worked on. It was actually 2 PNP Darlington transistors. In many situations PNP's are paired with a NPN. But this case: two PNP's. TIP127's. TIP137's can work too - just a higher amp rating

Hi sorry, I said my English is not good. You should change four electronic parts of the main board. You need change two PNP Darlington Transistors (TIP 127) and two Capacitor(470uF /25 Volt) and (220uF / 25 volt). That's it. sorry again

In our power button also have exact that prblm that can’t turn off and the thing both weels are stucking at the same time Bluetooth error also hppng
