This Ruthless test is crazy. I worked in car stereo back in the early 90s then got out around 2000. Just getting back into it now and its change so much. The power these amps are making now is just insane. Hey great edits on this video brother, what do you use? Im using Filmora and still learning. I need a good camera other than my gopro stuff. Keep em coming and Ill watch you grow.
I've been eyeing up the ruthless 10k but can't justify the expense of getting 2 more after I just bought the surge 10ks.lot of money for a hobby.got daughter's in college lol
@ I can definitely understand that one. If they hadn’t provided this amp I probably wouldn’t have been able to get one either. I wouldn’t be mad with 2 surge audios 10k’s though. They are some sexy amplifiers!
@ from what I understand these and those are very similar amps, Same board design a few different components but I wouldn’t be upset with a surge 10k under my tree! Thanks for watching!
@@laurantsmccloskey5927 I did a dyno test on the teampie 2k, 3k and 4k and they were extremely solid amplifiers. Built like tanks! Thanks for watching!

Love my 3 Ruthless 4500s. any questions or problems FB message them and Benjamin himself answers you and it is usually is pretty quick. excellent amplifiers and excellent support.
@@alanclark9000 these are really nice amps. They would be really nice if they were the same price as the salt 8 or the jp83 but at $1400ish dollars they are insanely good. Thank you for watching!
Im going back and fourth on either 3 of these or continue with the original plan and just run 3 salt 8s. Guess we will see what deals i get when the time comes. I have 1 salt 8 already so there is that.. lol
@@shiznayne I actually sold my salt to run this but a salt is a great amplifier and I think these are compared a lot because they look alike but the salt is really made for lower volts so if you are charging at around 12-14 then stick with the Salts but if you are going to run low ohms or high voltage then the Ruthless is definitely a solid option. Thank you for watching!
My biggest issue with it all is the amount of lithium recommended, ive got a 160 bank of yinlong already and a line on 4 more banks for a good deal. Possibly 8 total, I can get the salts at about the same price as the RS used through people i trust. Ive ran salt more than anything else at this point being at 15v but ive thought about going 16v range, 6 d2 zv6 18s, .5 per pair. Would love to see some real world testing on subs in a build. @BassDad
@ only you can make that decision if it were me though at 15.5 and 16v I’d probably go with the ruthless but yes as you could see from my 1ohm test you need to have some batter AH’s on deck.
No hate huh... Well my soundstorm 100x2 bridged can out do that usless door stop. Was a joke.. no i don't own a sound storm amp.. to much $ for my blood. That was a joke too.
Fun fact that many might not know did Rufus audio was created back around 9394 from Eazy-E of ruthless records is audio brand with ruthless now someone might have stole his name to make ruthless audio and I'm sure that's what happened this was specifically Eazy-E's brand ruthless audio he was going to make speakers headphones everything amplifiers just a little something that y'all probably didn't know
Never actually listened to one, but my first impression is that it looks like a lot of the cookie cutter amps like Mr. Music Man and Blurred Vision and what not, am I wrong??? Edit: I swear I am not hating, I don't know a damn thing about them, just saying what I think they look like is all
@@bearxbunny1835 you are good, I understand. Here’s my response though. How different can an amp look now a days and how different do you want it to look? The things you have to look at is the quality. The RCA’s the speaker and power terminals. Then inside the amp at the caps and windings and finally the performance. Half and ohm with no issues then I have seen people running these even lower with no issues. The fact it stayed 80 degrees through all the tests and finally that it cost less than half of anything comparable. Thats what I based my review on. I liked this amp so much that I abandoned my plans that I have had for year to build an all sundown salt system in my vehicle and instead went with this ruthless amp. Maybe I just didn’t do a good job on the review articulating how nice this is for the money. I’m sorry for that but I really appreciate you watching it!
@@BassDad-TV Well I fell for it once, I bought a Mr. Music Man amp that did good ratings and had good efficiency, AND was even half ohm stable, but it just didn't sound good period. I refuse to fall for it again!!! These amps (Idk about ruthless) can be bought on alibaba and ali express that come completely blank, and the "company" that buys them simply puts a logo on it and sells them like that. Aside from the logo they are 100% the same damn thing and that is why I am skeptical
These are not teampie amps. I have reviewed several teampie amps these are not them and since 98% of amps come from Asia and 100% of the parts also come from Asia possible tariff increases would affect ever amplifier made everywhere by anyone
