Oh Stephanie, I got all choked up when hearing your lovely song, during a beautiful walk, you are such a dear and loved treasure to so many Love and respect from Canada ❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
Oh you must sing some more. You have a beautiful voice. It's been a long time. Does phillip have any musical talent.?? I'm in love to see you too. Do a do it.. Singing together. Philip that Kilt you bought it's going to be beautiful you must model. ❤❤❤. I'm living through you now. I'm too old to travel. Then I have trouble walking..
Stephanie, so awesome of you to take us along on this once in a lifetime getaway. Thank you for singing the Skye song as well, inspired by the landscape.
I went to Skye 50 years ago. The wind blew none stop for a week. It was quite a vacation. I also visited Blair Atholl Castle and Loch Rannoch. I walked round the loch all alone and heard the bagpipes played by a solitary piper in the mountains surrounding the loch. It was a fabulous adventure but I must admit that every castle I visited in my younger days always led me down to inspect the dungeons. Now I spend my days in old western horse barns escaping longevity with the spirit of Commanche. Horses, Barns and Dungeons. Have a wonderful journey. Lots of ❤ from Arizona. ❤
Skye is beautiful went there about 10 years ago. I still have my Mother’s kilt from this establishment. Autumnal is a more descriptive word than fall. I like the strawberry jumper. 😊
It’s such a shame that Philip has been unwell during most of this fascinating trip, but thankfully he is looking much better in this vlog. Thank you for bringing us along. Stephanie’s melodious voice was a real treat in song🥰
Philip I concede on the Bib Overall nagging, and am getting 100% behind the Tartan kilt choice. Who needs Bib Overalls when you can get such a traditional tartan wool awesome kilt. Forgive me I feel like your Southern (great?) Aunt that wants to help. But obviously, not necessary, lol. That tartan shop was Perfection! The Antique Store that Philip was drawn into was wonderful and all of those gorgeous bits- Steph I so enjoyed this thanks! I suppose that these special items give a rare glimpse into Upper Class Patrons of the Arts way back when- it is delightful to see even everyday objects being transported into Art. I love Antiques- I get that from my Grandmother, who kept generations of items, and that wisely thought to save specials things that we could later enjoy. I love that you both enjoy and appreciate not only antiques but traditional Crafts that go back many generations. I really enjoy The Chateau Diaries!
I love your adventures and your singing outdoors is so uplifting. I love when people sing outdoors. I hope Phillip gets better soon. My husband shared a 3 day cold. My degrees are fine art (porcelaine and bronze and masters of fine art librarianship information science MLIS) The academic collection i worked with is 3/4 international languages. I have a private library and gallery now. I hope maybe i can volunteer 2 help u with your future personal library when Laland is prepared. My husband will bring me 2 u. He is from Netherlands as Phillip. He listens 2 all of your episodes when i watch. All the best 4 all of your adventures. I know a little girls dreams come true. I am so excited Phillip picked u the strawberry fairisle. Reminds me of london liberty strawberry thieves. I am very happy with the tartan Phillips chose. I think it will go well with some rich burgandy colors on him. I hope he finds a tailor in france 2.
Thank you so much for filming every day of this trip❤ It’s a wonderful journey for us viewers also🥰 I love the fabric Phillip choose for his kilt, it was stunning. He’ll look great at the guest dinners wearing that one 😊
As soon as Stephanie mentioned 'over the sea to Skye' I started singing the song to myself. Then Stephanie broke into song- got to admit her version was better than mine!
Antique Shop, thank you, oh my, yes!!! Stephanie, you and Phillip, everyone, thank you so much for the lesson, the tour, the Castle, which I enjoyed so much. Thank you for sharing. Phillip stay well, wishing safe travels to everyone.
Beautiful video Stephanie. Hope Philip continues to improve nothing worse than feeling rotten when away. I am from Essex but 33years ago went on honeymoon to Scotland did all of the west coast ending up in Inverness where in those days there was just a ferry over to sky which we did, had an amazing lunch there, that I’ve never forgotten. Your video has sparked some amazing memories for me. Thank you.x
Dear Stephanie, thank you so much for your moving version of 'Over the sea to Skye'! I was there before they built the bridge and Skye left a big impression, as did that song. Thank you!!
This is such a great video! The shops (saw a beautiful porcelain sculpture of a seated dog that I'd love) , the food, the autumn scenery, the train, the castle. Just about everything!
Hello, I, too saw Nick’s reflection in the train window! BTW - the jumper that Phillip bought you is darling! Stephanie, you have a GORGEOUS singing voice! I also love the tartan that Phillip chose for his kilt!Elizabeth in Texas
I live in New Zealand but my paternal ancestors came from Skye (well, they went from Skye to Australia in the 1800s, McLeods) - I don't know much about it so I am very excited you went there! PS: Have been (secretly) enjoying the reflections of Nick in various train windows!! Shhh, don't tell him!
What a lovely video. So happy to hear Stephanie sing that beautiful tune. I wish the bagpipes were accompanying you as I could almost hear them in your melody. Safe and happy travels.
In addition to brisk walks to build up an appetite, I hope you’ll be the sort of person who reads mystery novels for Audible. The way you introduced this video I was all ready for an adventure. Hopefully it includes your beautiful singing! 🥰
So sorry Philip got sick but glad by Thursday he felt better. The whole trip has been fabulous! I was especially touched by your Scottish song Stephanie. You have an amazing voice & I would love to hear it more often. Wonderful vlog…one of my favorites! Thank you! 😊

Cheers, Stephanie and Philip!! You are so happy to be in Scotland, Stephanie, that you burst into song!! Lovely!! And I hope Philip continues to feel better and better each day!! I loved the tweed shop, though I do not own any. Sometimes I feel I was Scottish in a past life, as I am drawn to the countryside, though I have never set foot in Scotland. Loved the "full Scottish" breakfast, it made me quite hungry...😉 I follow several Scotsmen on YT. It's a beautiful country!! Chuck in Northern New England

Being an American, I have heard Autumnal more times in this one show than i have heard in all 70 years of my life! 😂😂😂
They have started to use the word in the US now.
Skye is beautiful went there about 10 years ago. I still have my Mother’s kilt from this establishment. Autumnal is a more descriptive word than fall. I like the strawberry jumper. 😊
