@@ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures absolutely definitely what we heard as well now we think about it 🤪🤣👍 That bridge that collapsed….remember that very well, hence a bridge fear factor of mine after they published reports on how many bridges were in need of repair by country…sometimes google is not your best friend 🤣🤣🤣😱
Glad you enjoyed it Mark & Sue... thankfully there was a great view at the top, we didn't know for sure and I would have been seriously in the dog house going to all that effort if the top was a disappointment! 🤣 Cheers...Andy&Michelle😍
That was superb guys what an interesting route and chapeau for getting to the top! Reminds me of the eiger route and battery management 😅😅look forward to the next one as always
It was a great route and all the more special because we had no idea the tunnels were there until we stumbled across them😀 all the way were had serious doubts whether we’d make it to the top, battery management a big factor here🔋cheers…Andy&Michelle
Great video, you guys don’t stop! We did feel for Michelle, when Andy explained how high the bike ride was! We’ll be at Maggiore in about 5 days, stopping off at Strasbourg & Luzern on the way. Looking forward to the next instalment.
That look on Michelle's face was priceless, when I see that I know its a good one!! 🤣 Have you sorted your Crit’Air sticker for Strasbourg? we had to take a different route around it to avoid the low emissions zone, cheers...Andy&Michelle
Yes Italy in the mountains / on the coast is very demanding on the ebikes, my battery only had minutes left in it by the time we were home! Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Absolutely loving your vlogs, so informative and entertaining. Have you ever made a vlog about how you plan your trips and stays? As someone looking forward to buying a van when I retire in about 3 years I wouldn’t really know where to start!
Thank you, great to hear you are enjoyed our channel. A "how to plan / prepare video" is definitely on the cards but its just a case of fitting it in with everything else. We do find ourselves planning less and less these days to the point all we do is book the crossing from the UK to France. We do remember the early days though where we did book ahead a lot. When we get to it we'll share how we locate the good places to stay, we'll definitely put something out before you retire😀 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
We just watched this latest Vlog. Excellent as usual. We both agreed that technically you are by far the leader in the travel vlog world. Plus equal presentation to anyone. Which makes you guys our new number one Vloggers Said it before we will aspire to be as good as you guys, not copy 😂
Great to hear it Chris😀, we hadn't thought about it but this video marks the end of the Italian leg of the tour, (but we go back on the latest tour we've just finished!) 😀 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
it’s not often you see a Gas Holder abroad but that’s a MAN waterless gas holder (basically a piston in a tin cylinder) at the end of ‘that’ bridge (10;43) loving the trip ❤️
@@ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures steel plants typically used them but 2 in Edinburgh (Granton) were for normal use, lucky to get inside and work on them when i was younger. Keep on producing those great trips, my motorhome plans died with my late wife but I love your channel, (ps loved seeing Rapallo, were spent a day there off a cruise - super area) xx
Sorry to hear about your late wife❤️ I was always fascinated by the huge Gas holders as a kid and wondered what they were like inside! (my first job was for the Gas Board just before it was privatised) , we've no shortage of content for future vlogs so lots more to come😀
Stunning route through the northern lakes ❤ 🇮🇹 🇨🇭 Think we took a chair lift from stressa up to a mountain restaurant where there was a roller coaster/downhill luge 😆 Can’t believe Michelle missed the most important fact about portofino tho (where Wayne Rooney and Coleen got married 😉) We doing 7 weeks in Italy starting the end of May so we will be using this series as reference points Awesome video guys 🚐💨❤️
That's not the lift from Stresa where the maintenance guy disabled the safety break and the the car fell a couple of years ago is it? 😱 Just asked Michelle if she knew about Rooney and Coleen - she didn't! 7 weeks in Italy will be amazing, from this tour we were only in Italy for just over 2 weeks! seemed longer to us 😀Cheers...Andy&Michelle
@@ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures - Hmmmm maybe it was but i can't remember the trip up (we do lots of chairs and gondolas during the winter season ⛷🏂🪂🚠🚡) Scary 🥺 Hard to believe yr Italian adventures were that short !! You guys certainly pack a lot in 😍🚐💨❤
We are positive you said a naughty word in that tunnel Michelle when Andy said about the spiders 🕷️ 😍 loved this one as usual ❤️ xx
Michelle only speak's the Queens / Kings English so you must have been mistaken, I think she said "Rock" 😉 Cheers...Andy&Michelle❤️

Ha ha - easily mistaken word! 🤣 re the bridges, not a great situation with all these ageing bridges - yes sometimes best not to know!
A great VLOG and editing as always guys. A thoroughly enjoyable view.

Thanks Tony, yes at one point I thought there was something wrong with the motor but it was just because it was so steep! Cheers...Andy&Michelle
