I love the sportsmanship on display. Seeing a 13 year old cheer in genuine excitement for their opponent winning a game in a chasedown was heartwarming.
I think its fair to say, Scuti is the biggest new talent this year, what a showing, holding your nerves in the biggest stage, filled with people screaming and comp nerves and still performing like that on the in person CTWC debut is amazing, an honor being your judge during quals my friend :)
Sidnev is insane, opaux played a great game 1 and 2, but sidnev is just so efficient post 19 and plays so clean post 29, if you are not 3-4 tetris ahead she will chase your lead. The blue yoshi gives scuti tetris powers

This was a spectacular set of games! The digs, the risks! the sheer concentration is just mind boggling!!! Also the Epic chase downs on both games, Myles did some increadible work there!
I love Sharky commentating and he usually seems to have four eyes, but here I really think they missed a lot of the great game between Myles and Scuti. So many tucks, spins and saves and for instance at 35:30 Scuti has 85% Tetris rate and they don't notice.
i don't exactly know what you're refering to. but chances are, whoever you're refering to stopped because they already won the match, having a higher score than the opponent. the tournament, to my knowledge, runs on a tight schedule, so there is no good reason to play any longer than you must

It would be more cringe if he didn't celebrate IMO. That would seem like he wasn't taking Scuti seriously. It was a clutch play to save his tournament life, what do you expect?

It was my first time casting off a projector this year. 4 boards was definitely a challenge on an unfamiliar setup… But I’ll aim to better next year!
