CLAP live performances are ALWAYS so fun! During Vernon’s part in the last chorus, (because in the original choreography Vernon does the dance move first and the members follow) he always switches up the dance and the members would follow! Most of the time the dance Vernon does is from an inside joke/or something that happened prior to the concert. It’s always fun guessing what he’ll do

Yes, "jjak jjak jjak jjak" is the Korean onomatopoeia sound equivalent for the sound of hands clapping. While "baksu", is the actual Korean word for "clap" or to applaud.

Seventeen's "Clap" is supposed to be all about how Seventeen are a self-produced group, so in the MV they are showing how they create everything themselves. In the MV it shows them creating the sets and holding meetings to discuss the production, and editing the video, etc. The lyrics are about how they hope people clap for them and they want to receive a lot of applause, etc. because they put a lot of effort into everything they do.
Pretty much everything you see in the MV is a reference to something from a previous MV or something to do with Seventeen. So, if you really get to know Seventeen as a group, you will start to see how this MV connects to their other MVs.
Clap has a lot of hidden Easter eggs in it that I love. Especially from the unit songs.
I agree that Seventeen really tries to make everyone feel happy and lighthearted! Their performances in award shows are amazing because they really think a lot about how they can make it fun for the audience:)

I wanna clarify something just in case!! Sorry if tonally this sounds not nice but i mean well wanting to explain it. When you say woozi doesn't entertain height jokes, things between the members are a different thing. Even the members often respect it when he doesn't like it, so carats understood that we especially are not 'friends' enough with them to joke on woozi's eight, or like some member's thinness/not etc etc even when the members sometimes do. I thought this would be a heads up for future reactions cause some new carats still joke abt things the members don't like esp from fans since they didn't know. Also goes for ships I guess. You can acknowledge it as a ship or whatever but don't make it into the only thing to explain their bond. It was a recent discourse too cause for example, people dont care if u ship jeongcheol but many carats just make everything they do as sth to push a ship narrative when they're just like that with every member :)

there's so much hidden within the clap music video, they are celebrating their success, they are saying why get down when everyday things happen such as tangled earphones and no money on travel card instead we should clap and encourage yourself....its a relatable song to everyone every day life which makes the song so heart warming and they making the music video in the mv. 'Baksu' is clap in Korean but the 'jerk jerk jerk jerk' is the onomatopoeia. for the music videos that don't have subs possibly also react to a lyric video it helps you appreciate the songs alot more.
CLAP live is THE BEST concert performance by any artist all time and I will die on this hill! They open concerts with this and you are on a high after that

I call this Seventeen's "Friend Theme Song" song because the lyrics are honestly funny. For Kerry -- 박수 (baksu) means clap but 짝짝짝짝 (jjakjjakjjakjjak) -- just how it's in the lyrics also means clap. So like clap clap clap clap. It sounds like clapping. ALSO I will say 10/10 Simon for the "get under blondewoo comment" 박수 sir.
I think he is okay when SVT makes the height jokes but even SVT makes them very rarely... like that one time they tried to push him beside Soobin from TXT who is pretty much as tall as Mingyu..
