Jpaydirt (Jeff Anderson) down in Blackfoot, Idaho has three D9's. One running and working, one being made ready to work and one for parts, It's a wonder his equipment lot doesn't tilt to one side. Always love the videos of the largest traditional Cats.

Go on take it, at least you won’t have to mow a big section of your front yard anymore with that beautiful lawn art there

G models were always well liked in hillside pipelining because the winches wouldn’t lose prime when on steep hills.
I’ve made many many welds standing on my head listening to these things idle.
We did a hill in Logan County West Virginia that was 73 degrees at the top and we had 8 D8’s and 1 D7 hooked to our 572 sideboom all full winch drums stretched out. Have pictures somewhere?

Left handed operator always turning to the left side? If so the right side tracks will be worn more than the left side. I haven't seen any straight blades being used for pushing chips unless it was a spare dozer filling while the regular iron was being repaired or serviced. Thanks for the video.

Was kind of a spare i think. The torque converter is bad on it. Haven't heard or seen you around the forums for too long now.I know why, but you should come back and help out again.

@@skadillI had some family stuff happen, some business got very busy and just figured I had to put my time into things I got paid for. All that and the fact that they banned me for a few weeks kind of left a sour taste.

Great old machine, looks like it went from pushing chips to electric motors.

There's a company here in eastern Ontario that is still using 2 D9G's for fence line clearing . I watched them working last August while I was working on a Deere excavator . The sound the make when they start to push a giant peice of limestone is awesome thanks for another great video 👍

Shame they didn't cover the stack and I ran a 980 like that one or the 1st one shown a bunch. Got it off the pumped storage project and roaded it to the quarry. 10 tons at a bucket, 3406 power and would lift the rear off the ground while digging. Then they got the 'G' with the dry cab. That suited my arthur better. Thanks, Pal and God Bless

    Salut de la France !
Good video my friend, with judicious and interesting remarks to get an idea of the wear of these old machines.
And yes, It's always very sad to see these old Babies rusting in the sun and in the rain for several decades perhaps. I discovered last year a "cemetery" of old Richard Continental Dozers (French company from the 50' and 60'), a dozen at least ! If you're interested, my video is called : Un "cimetière" pour Bulldozers Richard Continental !
    Bonne soirée !

No hydrostatic on this beast, you have to shift your own gear. ⚙️⚙️⚙️

"I'll take it!!! " just kidding.
Your not kidding...lol if you had a place to easily store it it would be on your trailer lol. Do you know who owns it '? It obviously had some kind of transmission issue based on the missing plates in the operating station

My first dozer i ever bought was a 9G. 66a9560. Trust me, the serial number is etched into my memory from all the call to local dealer.
