One guy was lights out and the team shot 50% on free throws.....this team was beating Kentucky no matter what

I'm so done with Kentucky they literally have the best player's from Highschool. Of the top 100 players they get who they want! And this is the outcome, really!!!!

These cohesive older teams from small schools are increasingly underrated. This leads to more and more early round upsets. Kentucky is particularly susceptible to early-round upset because of its perennial inexperience.
All we hear about in Cincy across the River is how great a team UK has. Kentucky has no pro teams and so Louisville and UK are it. I am very happy for Oakland.

I'm a lifelong Jayhawks fan, but it was not an upset for KU to lose to the Zags. Frankly, with how shorthanded they were, it would not have been an upset for them to lose in Rd. 1 to Samford. Time to reload for next year.

Great call by Andrew Catalon and Steve Lappas of the thrilling final minutes - second straight year they've had a major upset in the first round (FDU/Purdue last year). Really good announcing team.
Coach Calipari literally called this upset himself. He mentioned on a radio interview THIS WEEK that Oakland would upset them if that 3 ball hit.

Upsets happen when unknown teams have a bunch of seniors. Both St Peter’s and Oakland had seniors and juniors.
Even though the story ends …that is still a lifetime of bragging rights. Gohlke’s story is one of pure drive.
This why a strong big man who can finish is important to a line up - and whoever the Guard is for Oakland controlling the point; I hope NBA teams notice how he was able to keep the ball and protect it
