I'd like to see wider tracks on the 9RX such as 48 inch or even 54 inch wide tracks.
No DEF, I like the sound of that👍👍
How they get away with that?
@@countryshaner141they must have a good friend as a politician
Dayum! That thing is The Beast. Well done Deere.
I feel bad for all the sales people trying to sell them with 4 dollar corn
There will still be Farmers that buy it
@@farmjet2711 probably lease them.
lol. You know nothing. Corn isn’t the only crop in the world
Obviously, you've never lived through $1.69 corn!
Another mommy's boy!
Who you calling a mommy's boy?
The best in the world. CASE DESERVES IT
yeah, no def SOUNDS GREAT ... BUT ... he said they are still using EGR! (exhaust gas recirculation) as a cat tech we see A LOT more clogging problems from the egr system than we do ANY problems form the def system. good luck with that!
p.s. high hp engines are subjected to a lesser amount of emissions regulations
Nice 9RX👍👍
If they would put a control arm on these tractors with different functions like case has then they would have something. Like the control arms in the combines and sprayers. I really like John Deere’s but I got to run a case quadtrac and was very impressed with it really liked the multi function control arm.
They have commandpro. But not for 9rs I don't think for some reason
Hope the A/C works good enough to beat a Texas heat during the summer.
At this point I just feel bad for case. They were so proud of that 715. It’s a toy now.
It's their entry level to the next gen of tractors. They will have an 835-840 to counter this machine. Count on it.
I think it's more of a race than anything
@@404nitro haha that Deere weighs almost 90000 lbs. Fiat or cnh or whatever they call themselves now doesn’t even have a platform to efficiently utilize that power. Or an engine. Let alone the resources to get it done.
They’re so far behind at this point they think they’re ahead.
@@404nitrothey will need a bigger engine for more power
I feel bad for JD claiming there two track tractor was superior to the Qaud for years," We see where that ended up .. Same place there claim of the Rotor Combine claim wasn't any good . There always following," but yet claim nothing runs like a Deere .🤔🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Now we need a 140' airdrill with a 1600 bushel cart.
What size is the engine? I think 13.6 was the biggest motor deere use to have in the x9 and 620s
18 L
Probably a 2 mil price tag, with$3.80 corn price
Price ?
I hope that this takes away all attention from the CaseiH AF11 combine. How come there is not rubber tired wheel versions of this 9RX 830?
I believe they did make a wheeled version that makes a little less power.
I always thought are old IH 4786 was a big tractor at 350 hp , Thats nothing compared to these newer ones , How come they need so much power the implements can only get so big im guessing ???
78 yr old retired farmer here, was out visiting the DC area some years back..... took a tour of the Washington Cathedral, asked the tour guide why they built it so darn big, answer was.......because they could? Ron
First reason is that every time someone builds a bigger tractor, construction companies make a bigger dirt scraper for it to pull. Second, places like Washington (state) that have massive hills need bigger tractors. It takes twice the HP in their hills to pull the same tool that people in flat dirt need.
@@Caimen0 That makes sense thank you !
Go visit Saskatchewan and you'll find out.
I didn’t know AGCO built John Deere now
I bet that machine is at least a million dollars wow what a beautiful beast but how do the farmers afford these expensive tractors
I always said urine is not needed to run a clean diesel.
If I was the Boss at John Deere I'd made it up to 1000HP we need 1000HP in heavy dirt pulling these big drills specially in the hills
No DEF? Is it EGR with DPF?
I'm pretty sure he said egr only, no regen sys or dpf. I'd like to know more about the engine itself.
No DEF, no SCR, no DPF. Boost, fuel pressure and EGR only.
@@tractornut7547 interesting - egr only … does Deere have any egr only engines operating at this time, or is this a new emissions system with this new hp engine?
@@dougpage1271 it's like with government, military, emergency, specialty, or extreme high horsepower equipment are exempt from those emissions systems.
...makes a guy wonder, right? Why don't they have to use it? Is it because of reliability?
@@farming4g yeah - makes me wonder!
Does the engine have DPF?? Why don't they use this NOX technology on smaller horsepower engines??
No dpf. They can get away with just EGR because high HP motors don't have as strict of emissions regs as the small motors.
I'm a Case guy, but this thing looks absolutely SICK. Deere hit the nail on the head with this redesign while Case put a different hood on and called it good. *yawn*
Probably got a price of $1.5mil
I didn't hear a price. Around a million dollars I would guess, probably more. Then you need to buy something to pull behind it.
913 horse from 1,100 cu. In clean!!??!!
Its gotta C18 CAT in it if it meets emissions 😂
It's got a Deere 18L engine
Made in Waterloo,Iowa. I build the 9 liters.
I didn’t hear the price
Pete's TV show mentioned $1.2M - $1.4M
Give him a microphone next time!
It’s pretty comical to watch all you people on here fussing about which one is better red or green… I remember doing that when I was a teenager also
Same we argued over your girlfriend
@@Mygirlfriend3141 did you just come up with that joke on your own? You’re a genius you should be a stand-up comedian maybe it’ll get you out of your grandmother‘s basement one day . But meanwhile, if you’re in a 60-year-old women I divorced her a while back you can have her.
I know the guy who delivered that beast of a tractor
Still have that giant ass exhaust you need to look past
Looks like Deere just pushed Case out of the way.....
Josh 😂 trying to rent the whole state of Illinois 2025 .
Caseih 715 would still pull it backwards
What ever you say.
the 715 has a max ballast of 72k pounds, 830 can be ballasted to 84k. Not much of a competition there.
Case is out classed by this monster!
Why would Johnny Pop mess around building a 4 Track Tractor when they claimed there 2 Track Tractor was Superior to the Qaud🤔🤷🏻♂️. Same reason they ended up with a Rotor Combine after 30 plus years of Following... But yet nothing runs like a Deere .. 🤣🤣
Indeed, the same over here in europe with straw walker combines with an extra third drum, new holland introduced this system in 1972
claas and john deere followed after 2010. deutz fahr, dronningborg and laverda already after the end of patent phase out in the mid 80s…@@joshpitts7256
That big new Case 715...... kinda pales in comparison now......😅
"Nothing Runs Like A Deere" 🦌 👍 🇺🇲
BIG BUD really scared the shit out of john deere if they're using the same engine 😂
Where big bud doesn't even Make tractors
@@Mygirlfriend3141 They are in the Process of making a 700 hp . Why do you think everybody is all of a Sudden making Bigger. Not rocket Science. Nothing John deere makes does anything for me. Big Bud 747 is over 1100 hp now. To many Color Blind people . All this seems to be is Bragging Rights Game anymore. John deere like to take stuff that has been around 30 yrs & change something around & all of a sudden they have the Biggest new thing in the World. World is not all abought Over priced , over rated Green & yellow paint. I like the under Dogs. Dont Care for Deere at all. People get the Best of their Ego with anything with deere name on it.
@@Mygirlfriend3141 They are in the Prototype stage with Rome. Big Bud made a Tractor 40yrs ago that is putting out over 1100 hp plus in the 747. .

@@Mygirlfriend3141 Why wont they sell? There are not green & yellow with a Name? They will sell once they get to making them because people can Work on them theirself & Not have to pay the dealer to do it. The Underdog always seems to get that.
Its not a deere... its a liebherr!! Deere hasnt made a new engine in 25 yrs!
There's been a new Deere 18L in SPFH units for 2 years now that these tractors have. No DEF, no SCR, no DPF. Boost, fuel pressure, and EGR only to meet FT4.
Respectfully, you are incorrect. Our new engine is being built daily here in Waterloo, IA at John Deere Engine Works.

Sorry folks! This engine concept cannot work, cannot last…
The rate of hot exhaust gases which are redirected into the engine is at which percentage?
A major european truck and engine manufacturer, the one who finished the invention of rudolf diesel, failed to do so, „pure diesel“ with Euro V engines which would be more or less TIER IV intermediate.
The temperatures in the engine, the oil temperature gets so high that the oil loses its lubrification possibility from one moment to the other, crankshaft failures were the result.
Navistar big bore engines were not too well reknown for their longevity?
Same technology…
No Navistar is using a 13 l world engine with nearly SCR only technology, at idle engine speed a small amount of exhaust gases are recirculated only.
Why do all others do the contrary?
Above 750hp you dont need Def/Adblue anymore
This Engine uses EGR valves to meet the emission regs at this level of horsepower.
People are all excited about no DEF but have no clue that the engine is breathing all the exhaust gas, plus you have EGR coolers to deal with it that are prone to going wrong.
Case IH use DEF but the after treatment system on the new 715 does not use a DPF or DOC like the smaller HP models. The Case IH FPT engines do not use EGR valves unlike the competitors
Indeed, the developpers of the case new holland engines from FPT fiat power train in switzerland were the very first ones who went to SCR only engines, the rest of the truck engine manufacturers just followed them.@@oliverburgess1036
Both are Junk, EGR is a disaster but DEF also
CaseIH have enough problems with DEF..
Yeah, that’s the point!
