I think the spooky lilypaddies are a hint for that cave. If you talk to the cubey next to that cave he says it's made of flesh. This flesh is the same color as parasitic tissue from mimics and lily paddies. In other words the flesh cave may be related to the mimics and lily paddies. But we'll most likely only know in part 2 of the halloween update.
