Why do all of these stories make team 7 a four man squad, with two leaders, Lazy writing in my opinion, keep it a 3 man and push out the others into a new 3 man squad.
t's lazy writing, but @DankNG47 has a point. There are a few what-ifs out there that put them into different squads and those stories are pretty good! I hope there's a part 2. If it does I'm pretty sure Yakumo will be on Kushina's team

Not all of them do. A lot of them usually put the added characters on other teams. It's not always a 4 man squad.
